Impressive video, Steelbook Obsessed. Can't wait to see your next upload from you. I shattered the thumbs up icon on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! By the way, have you considered diving deeper into the specific packaging styles of Blu-rays and how they might influence collectors' choices? It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on that!
It was happy goodwill days when I found a Toshiba HD-DVD player for a big $13; and soon after a Pioneer Laser Disc Player (CLD-3030) was brought home for about $20. The best finds are dvds of movies I have on tape and due to obscurity, never expect to see, but a few weeks ago a dvd of "Star 80" appeared on the goodwill shelves. You could tell it kinda came from a 'collector' because someone had trimmed the snap-case artwork to fit into a standard dvd case.
It was a St Vinnies, but I found a J.A>G complete challange coin dvd set that was selling for like a $100 bucks and I got it after it had been priced down 4 times and using a 20% off coupon for $12. I then took my single season sets and sold them for more then the $12 so it was like it was free plus I got cash too.
On occasion a local guy who gets screener and review copies will drop a bunch off at a local goodwill and I have found some neat things and things that weren't in any other way released on physical media there.
It's hit and miss but mostly miss in my local Op shops as well here in Australia If they have any Blu Ray's it''s normally something I already have or something I'm not interested in
If you look closer at the slipcover of Moneyball the tag reads Walmart thus Walmart when came out was an exclusive to get 3 disc I got my copy at BestBuy and was stranded 2 disc set so guess if I see a 3 disc set in the wild I'll pick it up
Sundays are good cause they change the color for the week of the movies that are discounted and Monday afternoons here cause they put out new stuff then, here anyway.
I have never been in a Goodwill with that much physical media.🤯 Stickers! No I always remove the stickers (Goo Gone, heat) and try different methods. Some stickers are on the outside of the artwork, and some are on the actual artwork🤬.

Criterion and oop titles or obscure randome DVDs. It's amazing sometimes what people donate to Goodwill.
My goodwill has a huge dvd selection as well. I wish they still carried vhs.
@@BallerDan53 mine does from time to time and I love to stumble across those glorious VHS tapes
The secret life of Walter Mitty is such a great movie.
What do you think is the best time of the day and day of the week to go to goodwill for movies usually?
@@Gergabscg when they're open
@@Gergabscg that really depends from store to store. I haven’t found a set time to go

Why the HDR. No other youtubers do it. 😭 it makes the unnecessarily bright.
Did he try to say Stranger Things was only popular for the first season?
Blu-rays are so boring..... Vhs is where its at and more fun
