    Not sure I would live in Chino again. It's a dust bowl. The terrain is flat compared to Prescott. The people are nice, though.

    We built a new home in the Heritage Pointe subdivision off 4 North across from the Windmill House and LOVE IT! Nice and quiet with an acre lot.

    We bought property behind Safeway to build a 10 lane indoor gun range. It should open in summer or fall of 2022.

    "i don't like round abouts"
    *Proceeds smoothly through the round about
    *Has to stop at next intersection with traffic light.
    Round abouts are so much better than traffic lights for most intersections- less starting and stopping, safer, reduces congestion at intersections, more fuel efficient, costs less to put it, doesn't stop working if the power goes down ...

    Hi Bill, Is Chino significantly hotter than Prescott in the July & August? I looked at the elevevatio closer to the hills and it's around 4800ft, while Prescott is 5300ft +. Also, are there any tornado threats on that flatter terrain? Thanks!!

    • @Onebillyi2753
      @Onebillyi2753  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      About a 4 to 6 degree difference in temp. Less snow in the winter. We don't have tornado issues

    18 year resident of Chino Valley. I do not like it here. One grocery store that serves 30K people. One Walgreens and a few dollar stores and that is it for shopping. All your major shopping you drive to Prescott. I was 49 years old when I moved here and now I'm 68 and the drive is starting to get to me with all of the traffic currently in Prescott. Chino Valley is cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

    Its obvious this fellow does'nt live in Chino. He doesn't tell you about the crime and druggie population in Chino. There are lots of good folks but with all the Californians moving into the area it has only gotten to be a WORSE area over the years.

    • @Onebillyi2753

      Where you from Kelley? How long have you lived in Chino? The people that I know from California are like minded people that are moving to Arizona escaping the madness of California.

      @@Onebillyi2753 been here since 1996 I lived in Chino until 2010 I now reside out by Gunsite. It’s odd that no one wants to mention we are in Severe drought conditions while we are experiencing a housing boom. How are people from California like minded? They move here and try and change this area into California not to mention bringing their problems here. I remember when the Chino police force consisted of 4 officers and there were no murders taking place in Chino. There. We’re no less than 3 Murders in Chino last year. Gotta love that.

      Let me know somewhere better and I will be there. City water not an issue read up on that. Private wells scary. 4 murders ok. I grew up in prescott when Chino had nothing. I will shut down telling anybody about the area. We said the same about people like you moving here in 96. Arizona was paradise in the 70s. So were many other places. I will tell you about the California people I deal with. You would be surprised. I wish you well

      @@Onebillyi2753 People like me moving here in 96. I moved here from Glendale Az. LMAO yeah I'm from Az. And I can't think of a better place to live. What I don't get is why so many greedy developers and realtors want to jeopardize this communities future just to make a buck. City water is an issue regardless of what you may think. The Big Chino is fed by the Verde and when the city of Prescott and PV use it all up theres nothing left when the Verde dries up. and yes all the private wells will eventually dry up but hey who gives a whoot about those folks realtors and developers are getting rich and will just move on when the water runs out.
