We update the statistics and general real estate information on Prescott Arizona. Sorry the video is a little dark with the cloudy day. You tube got rid of all their edit features.
Great video. My wife and I bought twelve acres in Long Meadow Ranch last November. We just met with Scott from Crystal Creek Builders two weeks ago to plan our new home. We can't wait to move from Michigan to live in Prescott.
We bought our place on Rocky Dells Drive here in February of 2020 for $465k, it’s approximately 2300 sq ft including the Arizona room on .74 acres and we couldn’t be happier. It’s a Haley built home constructed in 1969 and the backyard is a sight to behold with all the lichen covered boulders and a central rock pile. This is the kind of natural landscape that wealthy people residing in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles would pay hundreds of thousands if not millions to have artificially replicated. And even though we feel like we’re out in the country with Companion Hill across the street and Thumb Butte poking out around the edge we are still only 2.5 miles from Courthouse Square.
Still keeping our fingers crossed that housing prices come down so we can move there! My daughter has land in Prescott Valley and just got a price of $400 per.sq. ft to build their house.
@@jimc9175 They are very disappointed because when they bought the land they could afford to build on it, but now, they aren't so sure. There are a lot of rules about what they can build, type of fence etc. I think the fencing and the pavers for the driveway will run close to 100 grand alone. Time will tell I suppose. They are renting for now. We just got back from there last week and we still can't afford anything. We looked at one place that was $469,000 and would have needed at least 100,000 in work. And they say CA is expensive???
@@cackleberrycottage2340 That is ridiculous. I'm sure all the realtors love it, but prices need to come down. It's getting so only rich ppl can afford these places. Totally unsustainable.
What is your opinion on the water wells in Copperfield, Prescott Valley? We are planning on buying and building in Copperfield. Thank you. Love your videos.
Great information Bill! Thanks for the update.
Thank you great videos showcasing Prescott

I know the house. I grew up in that neighborhood on Meadowllbrook Rd. Beautiful. Congrats
@@Onebillyi2753 We walk our dog on the Meadowbrook all the time! 😊🐕
Very helpful. Thanks Bill! One of my retirement goals is to move to Prescott.

I have a feeling they will slowly keep coming down. Probably have a wait a few more years.
@@JP5466 I hope you are right.
$400/SF - Ouch. (we own property in Prescott and figure grading alone will be $40-60K)

Lol, funny how the day you do the video it’s cloudy. Reminds me of Seattle where I am from
Yea it was a bad day for filming, but I put it up anyway. Thanks for watching. See you soon.

Was justing talking about Copperfield. So far the wells are very good
Wow, I wish I could have discovered this place years ago, before the prices inflated. Too bad there's not more "diversity" there. lol
