@@PreacherBoys I'm so grateful for my parents. When my father found out that our new gardener had touched me, he called the Police. The man was arrested and ended up in prison. Dad approached his previous employers, who had given John excellent references. That exposed more victims. I could see the pain in my father's eyes.

Thank you for sharing a piece of your story! I totally understand that feeling that you're always backseat to the cult...that the relationship or your feelings don't matter when the choice comes. Experiencing that alternate prioritization over & over again is traumatic, like an slap every time.
I have a question for you about your dad or even your mom or grandparents. Did you ever know him to have memberships in fraternal organizations (orders, societies or clubs)? I've noticed that pattern among abusive 'leaders' that aren't prosecuted, but they usually attempt to hide the affiliations.

You can be sure that all of the "affairs" were abusive rather than consensual relationships, purely on account of the power differential. They were probably all either children or little more than children.

Thank you so much. I am in my mid 50’s and have been out of church for 10 years due to how the independent Baptist church (not fundamentalist, but one step away) treated me and my daughters after my divorce and their serious illnesses. I had so many thoughts that my girls were seeing god as their father and he had serious mental issues, but I kept being told I had to do as he said even though it was detrimental to our family. My youngest daughter kept going to youth group after she started to get ill. She asked for them not to have balloons inside the youth house because of her severe anaphylactic reaction to latex. They refused because the other kids wanted them. The surprising part of all of this was the people who supported me the most were my parents age. My dad dropped being a deacon because of how the church was changing. I am out, I lost my youngest daughter almost a year ago due to her health and you podcasts help me so much to figure out what I am believing. I am agnostic but always open to others ideas. This was a great interview with someone still having a relationship with Christ after all he has been through. Thank you so much for your work. It helps so many of us.

I am so so sorry to hear of your church-induced trauma and that to your children. That is so tragic. May I respectfully encourage you to try a whole nother kind of church, such as a PCA? That is where i have settled and it has been a life changing breath of fresh air. There are guards in place to protect people from this nonsense. Don’t accidentally run from what God thru a church bc of how Satan can twist that! You need Him now probably more than before, though i know it’s scary and hard. He is with you!!

I’m so glad i got away from organized religion.

    • @anthill1510
      @anthill1510 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

Tons. It`s a power structure that makes abuse possible. It includes religious justifications for abuse like "Men have wandering eyes and women and girls have to dress and behave modestly to not entice men" so if a girl gets abused the first question is "What did you do to provoke him?" and it includes a structure for covering up abuse and letting it continue: Repentance instead of calling law enforcement.
There is rampant abuse in every church and more than in the secular world. Congregations could change that if they would stop spouting this rhetoric of it being the womens fault, would acuutally call the police on abusers, run background checks for their staff, etc. . Instead churches are fighting on the federal level that clergy priviledge of not having to call the police when an abuser is confessing stays in place.

Agree! Only one have I ever heard on the subject of men watching what they put before their eyes and being responsible for their own actions. It was prompted by my refusal to sign a dress code for worship team. I had made the point you did and next week the most fiery sermon on the subject of men taking care to be respectful of women was preached. I think this is because men struggle so bad in this area (yes - even pastors). They don’t like preaching about what they struggle with,

I believe He absolutely is an angry God. Your dad’s treatment of children would make God angry. Pastors using their position to abuse minors makes God angry. Mistreatment of people makes God angry. There is a place for anger within the character of God, it’s just not where fundamentalist pastors tend to place it.

In coming into more & more truth/honesty with yourself even & instituting healthy boundaries, you can become almost flawless at discerning good or bad motives in people. Subliminal Messages to Trigger Hypnosis is a Practice dating back as far as Ancient Greece.

      So she picks the Bear!
      Next - the Trauma y’all got …
Commercials in Movies at the Theater are Sold to whoever the Movie allows. Subliminal Messages in Commercials were then enforced by the Movie that pulled your brain in with Emotion.
When called out on it, the Nazis just got confirmations of how Effective it was. So it was then placed in all Media Forms - followed by News with Emotional “Trigger Words” and TV Shows that pull in Emotions to the Faces on the Screen.
      Timeline for Me-
Jeff already Memorialized any place I seized and woke up to his Eyes first - vehicles, crime scenes, whatever …

His Favorite was his waterbed from his House by the Deidra Dunn then Ashley Patterson Illegal Trade House by the old Funland in Wichita Falls.
Leonardo DeCaprio is a major Recruiter for SS Whores aka little girls for Property
Romeo and Juliet - who was the guy?
Mary Cannedy ran Cannedy Security subliminal Commercials for alarm systems. These ran during the Titanic Movie in Wichita Falls Theaters…
T&W Tire Corporate *almost* Freed me - with the help of a dear Friend who has put his literal Life on the Line to save Mine from Jeff in the Past -
Only to discover He was able to just be an Observer this time. Because Jim Seigler came from C&I Alarms
Luis Puente worked with me at the Security Company. He stood his ground with me in reporting the Internal Embezzlement within T&W Tire.
He was then shot in the hand by his own Duty Weapon.
Jerry’s first Statement when Luis got back from the ER was “I have one question - did it hurt?”
Luis - saw what they did there -
Him and his Wife took me and Jerry to see Titanic in Theaters …
The next day, Jerry sold our waterbed to Luis. Jeff’s mom was living across the street. It was highly Observed while Jerry had to drain the waterbed with a hose to the front yard.
Luis and his Family immediately left for safety
This was all in 1996 - during the LSD Trip Jeff did - to Cradle a Baby in Space - Skin to Skin … Throwing Copper - Live - entire Album
They’re not going to get MORE Guilty.
While this is mind boggling for some, this is - what the Club says to me - random Tuesday shit for Jenn

Jesus Christ, the thrill of hope, for a sick, hurting, and weary world-Romans 10:9-10 from the Bible: “That if you confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.”
