Had similar issues on my Jazz. Reseled the liners with RTV but water still came in. Checked all drain holes. 2006 model. Water was pooling on the door seals where they flatten out at the bottom and seeping in. Seams a bit tired. So i checked drain holes in the rubber seals at this point. They were 12 inches apart so make another drain hole carefully in the middle. That's stopped it getting in and saturating the carpets.

I hope nobody is thinking this is a fix. It’s a band-aid of the actual problem and this “fix” will only lead to other problems.
If you are getting water into your vehicle like this, it is most likely the window trim at the bottom of the window. The trim is notorious for low quality and degrades to the point where it lets water into the vehicle. It’s an inexpensive fix, although can be tricky removing the old trim. There are plenty of videos on TH-cam showing the removal of the trim.

I thought, the plastic should be consider moisture barrier not, a pool liner...

With a garden hose set up on that side and watch when it starts coming in.

Any suggestions on getting the door trim off? My window control switch on rear passenger side is not working😢

Does it work with the driver's master switch and not the passenger switch or vice versa? Usually a plastic trim piece you need to pop off first by the glass usually the panel hooks on and need to be lifted. Have a nice warm car before popping that panel off somewhat helps from preventing braking plastic clips and look around for any hidden screws. On the older Hyundais on the Elantra and accents I use to disassemble the switch because they all fail the same way the contacts on the rocker switch carbons up and make poor contact would just scrape and clean it off reassemble and works perfect after.

hello. I have a similar problem. I replaced the waterproof vinyl last time, but the water is leaking again.
Has this issue been resolved? Please tell me in detail what steps you have taken.
Should I just check the waterproof vinyl again? did that solve it?
thank you for the good video

I ran water before to see where it's leaking from before I took it apart. You need to be sure that where the sticky butyle doesn't have any holes that water can get by. Made sure after I put it back to run a hose on that same spot that it's not still leaking before putting it back together.

Cleaned the old butyl tape and resealed with new stuff.

Could you do a video on how to do this? Would duct tape work?

I don't use duct tape just clean it off and use butyle tape. I have another video on water leaks. th-cam.com/video/tGbjFOEJZfY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vIkOkRgMVFRNtCKR
