Hi from Perth, Western Australia. I just found your channel. I'm enjoying seeing my favourite ship again. We've booked to cruise on QE again in December. I was surprised to hear they only had paper towels in the washrooms. We've sailed with Cunard several times and they always had both paper and cotton towels! I missed your day 1 video, so I'll watch that now.
Great video. I am really enjoying watching your experiences so far on the Queen Elizabeth. Its so refreshing watching vlogers being enthusiastic and positive. Too many vlogers on TH-cam seem determined to whinge about every little thing on cruises. You two are a joy to watch. My wife and I are doing the Alaska cruise on the Queen Elizabeth in Aug/Sept 2025 sailing out of Seattle for 11 days - much the same itinerary as your cruise so I am very interested to follow your experiences. Can I ask how you packed your formal clothes without them getting creased? I am keen to pack a tux but am concerned it'll look terrible after a long trip before the cruise. Tks.
We are glad you are enjoying the series so far. We think that Alaska cruise on the Queen is going to be amazing! We roll all of our clothing items including Mr. Canucks tux. The Queen Elizabeth does offer a great self service laundry room which we had to use to touch up Mrs. Canucks dress due to some wrinkles.
Thanks for the vlog of the Formal night. Agree the ballroom dancing seems to be losing its' luster. The Verandah restaurant was good but the upcharge for dinner was a little pricey. Cheers.
We enjoyed the Verandah for lunch which was a little less expensive but it definitely had a costly up-charge for dinner compared to our cruise lines. We had a lovely day and enjoyed formal night.
We were on the same cruise as you. I'm jealous of the warm croissants. We were in the Queens Grill and never got warm ones. The flowers in your room were also much nicer than ours. I shouldn't complain, the cruise was pretty close to perfect, especially the weather. Great videos of the trip so far, can't wait for the next one.
You had us both drooling at the yummy plates of food you enjoyed for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! Especially, Mrs. Canucks! (Sorry Jerry) You both looked so glamorous and fancy for such a Gala Event! Again Jill - I really liked the white dresses that you wore on this day/vlog and Jerry in his James Bond attire!
You two really seemed to have enjoyed yourselves on this ship. It seems like such and opulent and regal experience...with great service. Glad to see you enjoying a new-to-you cruise line. Lianne and I may have to give Cunard a try.
We had our first ever cruise last month on Cunard QE Alaska, it was sunny and warm the whole trip. It was beautiful in Alaska, try it you will like it.
Very dapper Mr C and gorgeous gown and shoes Mrs C 😍. Food looked amazing- we have only done a ship visit on a Cunard ship in Southampton(Queen Victoria) but not sailed with them yet.
You both looked wonderful for the Ice White Ball! Jerry looked very James Bondish, and Jill looked like an icy white princess. The lunch looked fantastic, as well as the gala dinner. What a lovely first day on board. Cheers from London, Ontario!
You both looked so glamorous. This was a super informative video about what a sea day and formal night is like on Cunard Queen Elizabeth. So many wonderful details! Thanks for sharing.
Oh no, that’s very unfortunate. We loved the breakfast in the Main dining room so we never did end up eating breakfast in the buffet. We never ended up trying the vegemite.
@@CruisingCanucks with how goof the food looked on the cruise do far I don’t blame you one bit. I’d much rather partake in eating all that delcious cruise food instead of eating poor vegemite.
Looking good, folks, in your posh togs. We’re on Cunard next year so, for the first time in over 20 years, I’m buying a tuxedo. I’m gently dieting so I don’t look like a sack of potatoes! 😂😂😂

Thanks for watching. We really enjoyed our first experience on a Cunard ship. The Queen Elizabeth is vey classic and beautiful as I’m sure you know.🛳
FANTASTIC Video!!! When Mr. Canuck said, "Here's James Bond, and here is..." I thought, "Don't say it Mr. Canuck!"
🤣
I almost forgot... those white shoes with the bow are so sweet!!
Thanks, they were a birthday gift and I so love them.
Jill is one stunning woman.
I was thinking more around Rodger More and Money Penny.
Lol 😆

That’s awesome. We had an amazing first sea day and love all of it. Didn’t we luck out with the best weather week ever in Alaska?
@@CruisingCanucks Saying the weather was perfect would be an understatement.
Looks like you had a great day! It was nice to see so many dress-up for the gala. You both looked wonderful😀
We agree with you that we were so impressed by how many passengers were dressed so formally!🛳

We had a great experience and absolutely loved the formal ball nights. Sure you both would love them also.🛳
I really like the huge ship wood inlay in the atrium. Our son and his girlfriend are collecting all the LEGO flowers collection.
The wood ship definitely adds an element of class to the design of the atrium. That was the first time e saw the lego flowers. They were pretty cool.
Nice video! You guys made a night of it. Very nice formal wear👍
Thank you. We had a fun filled night.🛳
We had our first ever cruise last month on Cunard QE Alaska, it was sunny and warm the whole trip. It was beautiful in Alaska, try it you will like it.
Maybe you were on the same week that we were. The weather was fabulous for our 9 day voyage!🛳
Very dapper Mr C and gorgeous gown and shoes Mrs C 😍. Food looked amazing- we have only done a ship visit on a Cunard ship in Southampton(Queen Victoria) but not sailed with them yet.

We had a fabulous day from beginning to end! Thanks for watching. We really enjoyed our first Cunard experience.
You both looked fabulous 👏👏🥰🥰
Thank you so much 😀
Love the new intro. ❤❤
Thanks 😊
That Vegemite looked interesting, I once ordered Vegemite on Amazon but it unfortunately arrived all broken with tiny pieces of glass.
Oh no, that’s very unfortunate. We loved the breakfast in the Main dining room so we never did end up eating breakfast in the buffet. We never ended up trying the vegemite.

Forget James Bond, I'd say more like Austin Powers....Yeah Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🤣
Vavavoom Mr and Mrs C. Very upscale evening.
Thank you 😊

Pretty dress at lunch
Thank you 😊
By the way Vegemite is Australian marmite is British xx
Thanks for the clarification.
You only just had breakfast!
It definitely felt like a day of eating especially after the editing room made its Final Cut!
Love gala nights on Cunard. So many “James Bond” on board.
It was an amazing experience. Truly enjoyed how much everyone on board with us participated dressed up!
Is Mr Canuck a vegetarian or does he just has vegetarian on board ship?
He prefers vegetables over meat. He eat both.
@@CruisingCanucks Ok, thanks. You satisfied my curiosity.
