Thanks for the video, I got this system used and it didn't come with a remote but when I saw this video and saw it was possible to tone down the insane factory bass setting on this I decided to get a remote. You can access the menu without the disc when the system is in the DVD menu by pressing Display and selecting CUSTOM with the Enter button. Then you can stroll down to the icon of the sound system and turn the bass down there as shown in the video.
