@@Alrat115no, Is an anti-cupping move. Levan pinned Devon with sidepressure, but he gave up his wrist flexion to do so. As a matter of fact the only moves that seems to work right now are flop Press and toddroll, Two tecniques that give up the wrist flexion.
Im 1 year into arm wrestling and my hand/wrist always gets taken. Im doing wrist curls and pronation with loading pin but doesnt feel like im progressing
I am training with a guy who has the strenght, but if we aw he just loads wrist wrong and it's very easy to take it becaue of it. It will be either your technique or people whom you train with doesn't work with you good enough
Don't forget to train you fingers! Try static holds, so you fingers don't get opened. Train you fingers to help cup, so this means using rolling devices with rolling resistance. Also try to hold your wrist while practice, don't let you wrist to get taken. Instead learn to move arm and sholders in losing position. Try to active cup during practice meaning trying to actually take your opponants pronation. Also try to let you fingers be loaded by your practice partner and than try to hold your finger and wrist, and try to drag back and cup at the same time. This all sould be done without silly ego at the table. Tell your practice partner exactly what you want to do and tell him to give sufficiant pressure. Also let him use two hand if he is to weak. Again leave your ego at the doorstep!!! Other armwrestling strengths should also be trained at least to a certain degree. They also can assist cup. For exampe you lose rising you kind of still can low cup but it becomes a actual different move. That's why you should have a certain awarness and feeling in which part of the hand you are losing or winning. A good example of this handcontrol mechanisms is definetly John Brzenk...

Riser get the high ground, and train finger strength
Levan
Damn
Table time is good unless you have bad training partners that hurt you every time. In that situation gym training is better. (My situation)
Honestly yes it will make you stronger but he is bracing his tricep into his leg not the elbow. That is not the same on the table
