Please pray for my sister, a middle school science teacher, had to go to the ER for a stress related ulcer this week. She's under 30. I hope she is better soon.
Even in Canada where I work, this week even 10 year olds had tantrums (like 3 year olds) in my class this week for being told simple things like it's time to get ready for outdoor time and put your coat on your hook please and not the floor as examples. I do care about the children. I'm glad this week is over.

I had one, who in the middle of a test split his screen on the computer to play a video game during the test, not one day but 2 days. When I called mom, she told me it was my problem and I needed to "handle it" because she couldn't do nothing about it. Wow!
Our Vp said “ we aren’t expecting it to ACTIVELY rain during school hours so they are going out into the playground. It was legitimately raining while she said this, and I’m pretty sure they went out!
It was a super new moon in pisces ♓️ but also, the stratosphere over the Arctic kinda flipped over, and that polar stratosphere is heavy with all kinds of stuff. I'm not a science need, but you've seen the aurora borealis, and that's the ionosphere getting hammered with electro magnetic wizardry, and the Arctic stratosphere just flipped and we are electromagnetic beings. So they may be getting impacted because they're not fully cooked yet. Who knows
So glad to know it wasn't just my school. Seriously this past week was like an episode of the twilight zone or even better an episode of body snatchers. For the aliens must have abducted my usual students and hopefully they bring them back this upcoming week.

There's got to be something in the water, or it was the crescent moon 🌙. Lol at the 10 mins weekend. That will be mine as assessment and paperwork. Life as teachers same everywhere.
Oh, I am not through- I had a mother say I am too strict with her 9 year old. He is a "sweet" child. She does not like it that I do not like to repeat myself. And is upset that she has to get on Google to help him with homework, because she says I will not repeat the lesson to her baby. She gets upset because when he acts a fool, and that is often, I have him leave the classroom so those who want to learn can learn without the disruption. I feel- Ma'am do your job!!! You are his mother. Teach him how to behave and act like he got some sense. Do YOUR JOB and help YOUR CHILD with HIS HOMEWORK. Do YOUR JOB and stop the foolishness now before he grows much bigger. Because if not, the world will stop his foolishness. As a professional teacher I cannot tell her - but, man!!! She has dropped the ball sooo much with her son. It is pitiful! I pray a lot for her and her son. This little boy is going to have a very hard life because his mother will not do HER JOB! Yall- Help me keep them in prayer!

Maybe it's because we had no days off in February and we don't have any in March either. We haven't even gotten any snow, so no snow days either. Going 10 weeks with no break is rough.
Omg yes ! I work with 3-4 year olds and you can tell they need a break, as you said yesterday I had to even tell off the good kids- one child drew on someone else's jumper, one kid blocked the toilet another one wet himself and didnt tell anyone , and the kids are just trashing the classroom and not playing properly 😓 and it's just a normal day lol. And people wonder why teachers and childcare educators need time off -yesterday I saw a childminder who I've know for years and asked her who she was here to pick up 😅😅😅 I was like im so sorry by brain isnt working today -luckily shes lovely and was like I know how you feel dont worry Haha
This past week was exceptionally hard over in AZ as well. They didn't even miss any days for the weather! They just lost their flippin' minds. I have a girl who looped with me from 3rd to 4th that's never once in two years gotten in trouble with me. This week she hid a Miku doll under her sweatshirt and brought it to our school assembly where she proceeded to distract everyone who sat near her with it.
Had a couple suspended for 3 days yesterday for posting Tik tok videos from school property. That’s a big No-no at my school as they’re not allowed to even have their phones. 2 of the 4 involved took their punishment and went home. The other 2 unleashed screaming & cursing on us. When I left yesterday they were still in the principal’s office yelling at him. Lord help our 7th grade dean yesterday. Got nothing to do with the snow/ice. I’m in central Florida was 86° yesterday!

Girl, you gotta move to Mobile area. We got the whole week off for Mardi Gras. It's that welcome week off in between Christmas and Spring break. And we were so ready to have this week off by Friday last week.
We only 3 days of school this week, but you know the planets were aligned with the moon this week. And then we went out for happy hour after school Friday. For 4 hours. 😂😮
We had Monday off for Presidents day but that's it yet our kids were crazy too. I agree that the planets are lining up some crazy kind of way or something. Our kids were 4 days, all day of acting like they were eating pixie sticks nonstop. I took recess minutes from kids I have never had to and I cried when I had to do it.... like what is happening when the best students who are always good to a fault are acting crazy?!
My youngest kids are not school age yet.. they Never shut up right now....and the one that is school age....😭 Idk what else to tell this child ..I hope she's different at school
