Caroland, I’m in the same situation right now. I’m begging his love and attention. He already got what he wants and now he just disappear. I thought I’m the only trans people who get brainwashed by a chaser. This making me so sad. But thank you for reminding us, that we’re don’t need their acceptance for being our self.

What's the difference between a chaser who's focus is on say trans women and someone who's primary attraction is to blondes?
A chaser usually refers to someone who serially fetishizes trans people. Attraction alone doesn't make someone a chaser, their behavior does.

Having a preference for blondes isn't the same as a chaser unless the person is behaving predatory, manipulative, and/or objectifying/fetishizing someone for soley being blonde. Likewise dating someone overweight doesn't automatically make you a chubby chaser. The behavior does. Liking blondes, brunettes, redheads whatever hair color doesn't make you similar to a chaser unless you're behaving like one. Are you serially targeting a specific group of people and using their situation or vulnerability to manipulate them into being with you? And then only remaining with them for one single physical attribute and using them not as a serious romantic partner but as fetish or object to satisfy your personal desire without serious regard for them as a person? That type of behavior is what the slang "chaser" usually refers to.
There are different kinds of chasers. Like chubby chasers, bear chasers, and even Race Chasers (ppl who specifically pursue drag queens from rpdr). Having preferences doesn't make you a chaser of any kind. Behavior does.

Yeah, it is her fault. The guy told her he had a girlfriend long before they got sexually involved. She knew his situation and went ahead anyway. She had sex with a guy that was in a committed relationship. I don't see how that puts any value on her self respect, the opposite in fact.
And since he was in a relationship with someone else, he should've thought about what he was doing. He made the choice to sneak behind his girlfriend's back. Carolina is not responsible for the choice he made. It's apparent he saw little value in his partner otherwise he wouldn't have strayed from her to begin with.
You don't get absolved of your role in an affair if you go into it with your eyes open, knowing the other person is already involved. Carolina is not responsible for he choice he made, she's responsible for the choice she made, to have an affair with a man in a committed relationship. You don't get a Get Out of Jail Free card just because you're single. She disrespected the other woman as well as herself. It is her fault, she didn't get taken advantage of, she should accept responsibility and do better in the future.

Thanks Caroline for that inspiring story to help us be vigilant and smart in dealing with cis men. I know how it feels to be used but certainly that pain will give you the reminders that you must not let any of these trans chasers trap you again. If another chaser comes just compose yourself and think a hundred times before you get victimized by them.

Honestly feel like it can be both ways. Understand the vulnerable state a person may be in, but don’t think it’s fair to blame solely blame him. Ya knew he was in a relationship and still craved his companionship. He could be a douche for being a cheater, but it doesn’t mean there wasn’t truth in what he was saying either.
Part of ya must’ve been worried about future sex and maybe wanted a last hoorah or something lol. We all know how good it feels to be wanted, but everyone is vulnerable to those temptations, not just ppl transitioning and feeling slightly insecure.
Guess just trying saying that even tho ya had feelings for him ya still did what you wanted to do as well. Ya said ya ignored him for weeks, but then got mad when he didn’t show ya the same attention he used to show ya.
Once relationships get physical they always get complicated lol. Bc it seems like ya still wanted to receive that initial feeling from him, maybe even more after surgery than before idk. But also wanted it to be know ya regretted the hook up. I’d be confused if I were him too. Especially if y’all hung out like ya said, there’s no way he didn’t generate real feelings for ya. Even if ya think it was just for some skin. Ppl don’t invest that much time into another person w/o growing feelings.

I understand you mean the specific people who specifically like only trans women. What is so wrong about that? Trans women are more complex then CIS women for crying out loud from all I heard from trans women about men and dating. To those saying everyone gets used you’re absolutely right. However, I love listening to Trans stories because it gives you a new insight on how it feels to walk in his or hers shoes. You hear a new level of highs and lows. It’s heartbreaking to want to be accepted, possibly find the one and to find out the person true intentions are not as they seemed or see them switch on you suddenly. I always hear a controlled narrative especially coming from the guy who’s stepping into the relationship with the trans woman. I feel like we need to hear these stories People who share them are brave and some people don’t even live to tell. Being a trans man or woman is a whole different level or bravery.
