I'm not so sure of that... When I lived in the north, I'd have said the same of our wolf spiders. They weren't afraid, but they were respectful and acknowledged the superior rights of humans so they'd make way. With those, if you made eye contact, they'd usually leave and if they didn't, all you had to do was stomp your foot in their direction and THEN they'd leave.
Those spiders in the south are MUCH bigger and they do NOT acknowledge the superiority of humans and they make way for no one. If you stomp your foot at them, they stomp back then run straight at you until YOU move! Scary as heck! They are definitely NOT more afraid of humans than humans are of them!

I've only seen 4 in my lifetime. Pretty cool how big they can get. I had a buddy make it's home in my window well one year. I used to see cat spiders all the time too as a kid but those are also becoming a super rare find. Shame.

The “kicking tool” is really cool, but I’m guessing you can’t walk around with it on for long b/c it would trip you up. So you put it on for that edging job and take it off when done. If you wore it for the driveway cracks, I bet you’d be on your face more than on your feet.

Personally, Is be willing to bet, that the back yard is a nightmare!
And: What about the house? Who knows WHAT you'd find, if you went in there, that is, if it hasn't been occupied for a long time. There's several kinds of possibilities, as to what could be in there. Could be Spiders, Scorpions, Snakes, Rats, and any other kind of creeping thing(s) in there! This next thing that I'm about to say, is a definite worst case scenario kind of a thing, but what if there's an old drug lab in there? I saw that big piece of plywood on the front...and it made me think that that could be a possibility. A very distant possibility, but a possibility, nonetheless. There could be (And I DEFINITELY hope not), a dead body in there. I know all of this sounds extremely far-fetched and absolutely ludicrous, but hey, you never know! Anything is a definite possibility, in a World that's so strange!!!

But they really aren’t interested in biting people and would only do it in defence. They keep all kinds of bugs under control, so are actually good to have around. If only they didn’t look so darned terrifying! Great work on this place and I’m going to head over to your pressure washing channel next. Cheers!

Those are American Grass Spiders, they are listed as "harmless" on Wikipedia. For future reference, the best way to kill wasps, or basically any bug, is to get a spray bottle and mix mostly water with a little bit of Dawn dish soap. It's a soapy spray and it covers the bugs with bubbles and they suffocate within about 30 seconds. I use this at my house and have killed dozens and dozens of wasps so it definitely works! Good video though, you guys cleaned that yard up really nice and it should be a lot safer for the neighborhood. I appreciate all the effort you do in making houses a cleaner and happier place. Thank you and god bless!

Love the great job you guys did there. Here in Arizona we have scorpions if we have high grass so we have to keep up our grass cuttings. I hate those things. Nice to see the foot blade used again. Thanks for sharing. God protect you guys.

I don’t understand why property owners let the land and houses run down so badly. Just sell and move on!
I wouldn’t want that dog owner to be my neighbor anymore than those nasty spiders! *shudder*

The house was likely foreclosed on and is now owned by a bank or the government. It seems that cities will ticket elderly residents who are unable to take care of their lawns, but they let the banks hold abandoned, overgrown properties without any code enforcement.

Great job guys. That looks amazing like a new yard. Please be cautious of those spiders . It's way to hot to be getting bit . They blow my anxiety up. Hopefully the neighbors will keep it up for their own sake
