I love Silverados! I have to do my cab mounts. I had a bad one finally give up and now it's kind of annoying.

Unfortunately they let Chrome go to crap. I prefer the matte black look. Very wise decision.

Yes the chrome over plastic really doesn’t hold up well at all. My truck came with the chrome package and I think I will slowly replace it all to the matte black look.

Hello, For me so far so good. The only problem I have found is the paint color began to fade quickly but no rust. The steps are aluminum and the brackets are steel. Thanks for watching!!!

I ordered a set of these but they are cheap and crappy... the stupid steel rivets will probably rust right away and then they will be worthless. Don't by CHINESE FOLKS!

Hello John, These steps have been installed now for more than 7 months. The only thing I can complain about is that the color is starting to fade. Other than that all is still good. I’ll do a follow up video after a year. Thanks for watching!!

Yes I can totally understand not wanting to break the bank on truck accessories. Everything is so darned expensive. I can see your point about the rivets and I have thought already about nut insert in place of the rivets. I originally had a set of factory GMC steps (chrome) that I liked better. This company approached me and I agreed to try their product. Over all my only complaint as I said is the paint fading. The build quality though seems very good. The steps do not flex any more than the factory steps and feel secure when I step up. Have you tried look at some of the sites(Craigslist, Facebook Market Place and such) for a good set of take offs? That’s where I found my original steps. I hope you find what your looking for. Thanks for watching John!!
