The nice thing with this Rocket's steam/water knobs, is it only takes about a 1/2 turn for fully closed to fully open- even though it will turn several times either direction. Took time for me to adjust to that fact. I tried this, a R60V and a Minima- by far the Cinquantotto makes the best tasting shots and is the most intuitive to use. But one thing I cannot figure out is the brew gauge on this thing, it always reads 5ish bar sitting idle and will peg 9 bar with nothing in the portafilter, don't know if that is normal operation, if so- it doesn't do much but to serve if your system pressure needs adjustment... and to look pretty.
Just discovered your channel while shopping on your website, also just subscribed, Great channel, Awesome online store, as I live in western Canada (Okanagan Valley) I was thrilled to see your a Canadian company which for me is Awesome as I can see prices in CDN dollars Not american which is a pain trying to convert and figure out taxes and duties. Your video presentations are very professional and informative, really look forward to seeing more, as I am a coffee fan and love to see and learn new systems and techniques. Keep up the Great work and Big Thumbs up.
I’ve seen in other reviews that you can partially lift the valve arm to pre-infuse and stop before the pump turns but that it is difficult to know how much.
How reliable are these machines? (I’m coming from a breville dual boiler and it has been a nightmare). Should I expect this will be serviced occasionally other than routine maintenance?
I have a Sage Oracle, which is a Breville, in the UK it’s called a Sage, I am on my second machine as the first one packed in just before the warranty ran out. The machine was replaced and I was told by Sage that I would only have the remaining warranty left from my original purchase. Now I am having problems with this machine so Like you I am looking for a very good reliable machine, I hope someone answers your question. Kind regards Johnny
Rocket machines will last decades if I had to guess with proper maintenance. They are very serviceable and share many standard parts with commercial and other high end machines. We own an older R58 (7yrs old) and were able to easily find service manuals and diagnose our own issue this year.
I have had a Rocket for over 8 years. Plumbed & drain for most of that time. Move from 3 different homes over that time. I use it ever day, unless on holiday. Have only ever changed the group seal, about 4 times. Changed seals in group lever once. Had other brands all with problem. Rocket Amazing product.
Hello i have same this machine and I have problem with extraction pressure gauge the one on right side there is humidity inside the gauge and the machine is still very new only 2 days.
Big question! Can you measure the depth of the feet? Essentially, what is the minimum counter depth needed to have all four feet sturdily on the counter?
you all probably dont give a shit but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the account password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Shawn Kaden Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I would give it at least 30 minutes for full heat up. But you can program it to start at a certain time so it is ready for you in the morning if you like
Feet look much cheaper to make and a step backwards in design and quality. The new controller and mounting is better. Timer is good but not visible enough.
This seems to be a divisive issue, I have heard from people like yourself who don't like the new style but we've also heard from people who love them. It's one of those things.

Hello... how many espresso/coffee can make per day?

Thank you for subscribing and for the kind compliments. ❤️🇨🇦☕
Will the machine pre-infuse when drawing water from the tank, or only when plumbed-in ?
have you found an answer?
plumbed as it needs the pressure. When running the tank it was be a pre-wet rather than infusion, unless u add a e61 group flow valve.

Beautiful review thank you! very much 🙏 I have
a question... this machine better than profitec Pro 700? please help me

@Shawn Kaden it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my ass !
@Joshua Owen no problem =)
Where are you guys?
The ECM Synchronika and Profitec 700 or Rocket Cinquantatto?
I would give the edge to the ECM/Profitec
Hey Slavik, what’s the heatup time?

How long does the machine take to heat up so it’s ready to start making espresso? :)
30 min

Can those legs be left off so I can get it under the cabinet? Legs too tall!
Aesthetically I liked the look of the V2 better....(especially with the black sides as a mod)
I love roket produk
What the F are 'F's' on that touch screen? Are you not in Canada? 😉
kool
I hate the legs tho

hahaha me 2 it's like table
Jay Nguyen Agreed. Glad to have the previous version from the looks perspective. I like the day of week feature on the new one though.
Are the new legs height adjustable. Them not being round makes me wonder.
Best legs from a rocket is on a chronometro in my opinion but I like the features of the R58 🤣 now I have to decide
