You just summed up everything I thought when I first watched Vivek. I was pretty much in the Desantis camp from the get go, because I love what he's done for Florida, and I really despise Trump's attitude. I'm not very smart but even I know that's called segregation and that wasn't a good thing in the 60s and 70s and it's not a good thing now. The great Martin Luther King Jr fought against segregation. He dreamed about having his children not judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. Obama took us back to the 60s. The party owes Trump a lot for unearthing the America First movement, but no one is anointed. If someone, like Vivek, comes along and does the game better then the people should recognize and reward that. But, yea it is a long shot because most people think as you do and want to let Trump ride off into the sunset. I think he deserves redemption also, but I think Vivek is the better candidate.

Just got some new polling numbers. Ramaswamy at 12%, Haley at 11%, Christie at 10%, DeSantis at 9%.
In the early surveys, De SAntis had about 28%. The people who were voting for DeSantis, changed their minds.
The former DeSantis votes mostly went to Nikki Haley. She rose more.
But there's nothing in these numbers that show Republicans intend to vote for Ramaswamy. only one Republican in ten thinks they might, and that doesn't elect anyone.
