  • New in SOLIDWORKS 2022, standard SOLIDWORKS bodies can now be directly combined with mesh bodies without prior conversion to mesh format. Additionally, most standard SOLIDWORKS features can now be applied directly to mesh bodies resulting in true SOLIDWORKS BREP geometry, and Fillets can be used to blend standard and mesh faces between combined bodies. In this video, we provide an overview of the hybrid mesh modeling approach and demonstrate the basics, discussing how this approach can be used to improve design workflow and enhance collaboration.

    I wish Solidworks will one day add a PowerSurfacing like feature as a genuine feature. Rhino add SubD's Solidworks should do the same to become perfect... Thanks for the video

    can you turn the meshbody into a simpler body without all those vertexes? and without losing detail?
