Do you if this card reader will work with an iPhone 15 Pro ?? I just got the dji Action 4 Pro and my Apple SD card reader won’t work with the SD card out of the Action 4 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️ it worked fine with my GoPro Hero 9
Hey i wanted to clear this problem a little bit. The uhs-i can only 95mb/s. The 170mb/s can be only archived by overlocking the transfer of the card. This overclockling can‘t be done by any sd card reader. The USB-A 3.0 reader can overclock the transfer and can archive the 170mb/s. The USB-C reader can‘t do it. But as it‘s say, it can be used to tranfer data from a uhs-ii card with 300mb/s. I hope this help.
yeah, Sandisk explains it has the proprietary tech on the UHS-I card reader. They set it up to have to buy the card reader for the 170MB/s and then have to buy a new card reader for UHS-II instead of adding the tech in that reader as well. I had made an updated video with the communication I had with them: th-cam.com/video/Ew_r791utfE/w-d-xo.html
@@NikosRentas - I am running 170MB/s Sandisk Extreme cards at the max speeds, with a Lexar UHS-II, USB3.1 Gen1 Reader. You don't need to have a Sandisk reader to max out sandisk UHS-I cards that run "out of spec"

Hey, yeah, so I didn't end up doing the test as I found the issue of the Extreme PRO not performing with the 175MB/s card. I looked online for issues and there were lots of complaints and no solutions. The company never got back to me before the 30 Days to return so I didn't see a point on proceeding at all. I was going to order another at a later date just incase I had a dud and never got around to it yet.
Great review. There needs to be some hard fast standards on the card readers. It is impossible to figure out which card reader will actually work these days. Still looking for one that will work on everything.
@@NikosRentas yes they are incredibly pricey. Do you think they’re any different or are they maybe produced and rebranded by a similar reader production house? Right now, Lexar is doing the business for me.
Today I bought the SanDisk Extreme PRO SD UHS-II card reader witch USB 3.0 conetction and my SD Card 170Mb/s is coping with 92Mb/s on computer, I am very disappointed :(.
You probably have the settings at 4k or above with limited compression. I am not sure how Samsung compresses the files to external cards. But to put into perspective 11 minutes from a canon camera in 4k is 36GB with limited compression. I would check your phone settings and use 1080p or 4k and pick the highest compression. If you can return it get a bigger sized card. I wouldn't buy anything under 128GB with how things are moving on the technology front.
Did you try to put a 10gb file on it to see if it stores it. Just to check if it not a fake. Sometimes they mess with it, so it looks in the properties there is ple ty storage, but there is actually less on it
@@NikosRentas I've heard the Kingston MobileLite Plus UHS-II card reader performs maximum speed for SanDisk UHS-I & UHS-II cards, but I haven't tested it. It got stuck on delivery.
I had another person tell me the Kingston one was good. I will be upgrading my cards later this year to the 300MB/s so when you test it out please let me know as I will need to upgrade.
You can max out the Sandisk Extremes and Extreme Pros with cheap Lexar Multi-Card 2-in-1 USB readers that cost like $15.00 on Amazon. Why waste heaps of money on the PROGRADE Reader?
@@albey1816 I have actually solved this quite long ago with the Kingston one. MobileLite Plus gives maximum speed everytime. Gotta checkout the Lexar though cuz it's in the same price range. Thanks for the heads up!

How about micro sd card reader like the Sandisk mobilemate usb 3.0 microsd card reader
Haven't tested one. USB 3.0 is only 5 Gbit/s so as long as you hit that and it is what your cards max will be then you should be good to go.

So for the ExtremePro 170MB/s card, what speed did you get with the UHS-II reader?
Variable but in general 35-45MB/s and 75-95MB/s was the speed I was getting. The older version I am getting the card rated speed.
