As someone who both plays Digimon and One Piece, this makes a lot of sense to me because all of Bandai card games try and work with the same base mechanics. In Digimon, this situation happens ALOT. When both you and your opponent have effects the trigger at the same timing, turn player must resolve all their effects first, then defending player must resolve all their effects. For example, if turn player's Digimon has a (when attacking) effect that deletes (KOs) a Digimon, and defending player has a Digimon with an (on opponents attack) effect that would delete a Digimon as well, turn player would have priority, KO the defending Digimon, and the defending players Digimon would not be on the field to resolve its effect.
Awesome video again! I know time is a hard thing have these days, but I would love to hear you explain new sets and card interactions. There are some who go over the Q&A, but I have a feeling you could do it even better 👌🏻💪🏻
@@CrossAii I try as much as I can to spread information about the rules of this game. It's so nice to see people are interested in this niche of a niche.
Yes, keywords are also an effect. If blocker is given through an auto effect (like OP10 kid leader) it cannot be negated as it is a resolved auto effect.
Sad to see such a great designed game take this route, so sad. Hopefully this doesn't continue... if that's the case, might as well go back to ygo. I quit ygo for this reason. Tired of the floodgates, negates, and handtraps. YGO is out of control
@@DragonothicaTCGThere literally isn't one, people are overly being dramatic and blowing things way out of proportion if they actually think this game is anything remotely close to how Yugioh is.
Cannot wait to attack with iceberg! 😂
Iceburg actually does him so dirty, like he just loses out on a searcher
@ I attack with Lucci on board they trigger that on my active leader, you saying I can’t attack.

Or Activate effects, by the way haha
Damn game is trying to kill itself with the Yugioh route
@@JohnnySilverhand-qz1fz what is the issue? I don't play Yugioh
Nahhh, not quite in the Yu Gi Oh route. At least not now, it's still way better. Better for beginners, better for late adapters etc
