Is not how the paint looks is how much effort this young guys put in the restoration of the machine plus this helps this young guys to keep busy doing positive things instead of drugs etc etc
I have two SA-200s I'm working on just like this, late 70's with 7K hours and early 1983 with unknown hours. Tons of rust where I'm at. I found this epoxy primer in a spray can. I'm going to try that. You have this tab at the bottom that you pull to release the Part B component. Hope it works.
Where would one find Shunt coils for a black face ? I have my beautiful SA and it kinda slowly started to lose its arc down a little spark when you try to fire up . Has me really bothered

You clearly didn’t watch all the video as we explain why. We sell these machines way cheaper than anyone else because there just decent looking 10 foot paint jobs. If someone wants one with a real deal paint job then they can go pay twice what we sell them for and get that.
@@bigrubberranch4507 I certainly did ,and I stand by what I said .I certainly wouldn't want a paint job that will wash off or wrinkle, certainly fade to pink. I along with others would rather pay extra for chicken salad than chicken shit. Do as you will, you only insult your selves. Maybe you didn't read what I wrote! I said CHEAP automotive paint. Good luck!!!
@@bigdave6447 are you forgetting there’s more prep and setup for doing that. If we’re gonna actually spray it we can’t just fire up in our messy garage. The while your at it get all the body work perfect on it. I’m not a body man at all or painter. We find these for deals and sell them at prices people ask when it’s not a deal and looks the way when we first got it. If we done an actual paint job on it we would ask about 3000ish more for them. A lot of guys realize there gonna get the hell beat outta them so why pay for it to be pained up like it’s going to Barrett Jackson 😂

I would love to get a hold of that machine. I wonder what he sold it for?
I like the old truck in this video
Thanks man
I'm not blaming you, cuz I'm constantly hearing about GoPro's dying, and I don't have one. But can they just be plugged in? Or is that not a thing?
How much did you sell it for or if you haven’t sold it, how much are you asking?
I’ve been hanging on to it right now, but I will be asking 3500

Did you spray paint the engine belt😂
Never even took it off 😂
I bought one it was my first welder and it made me a lot of money and sold it for 2 times what I paid for it
Hell ya
You don't have too worry about getting paint down in the generator you can just paint over the openings?
Never had a problem,
You're missing the idle control box. Weldtron seems to be out of business otherwise I would suggest them.
Do you have some for sell want to start my rig im located in texas
What paint do you use to paint the generator?
Just rattle can heat paint. Make sure to degrease it very good first
Ok thank you, I just got myself a 66
Are you located in Texas .?
No sir
Where can i get at you for one

I haven’t bought parts in so long I’m not sure the best place. You could probably google some and find several places to get them

How much do you sell them for I’ll be interested in buying one from you one day and we’re can we talk instead of over TH-cam I have Facebook as well
By the way I am a gas pipe welder looking to build my own rig
I was selling them 3500 a piece. I have now got my new pilot career established so I doubt I’ll ever mess with another

You boys did fine. Wait till you got a up to snuff shop to work in you'll realy take off
This seems like such a total waist of time for such hard prepping. At least use equipment enamel with a hardener.
When you use these machines like they are meant to be used it’ll get beat to hell and it’s going to be a lot easier to touch up with rattle can
How much you charge to restore
I hate messing with them😂😂
Going WAY too heavy on the first coat. Supposed to do a light tack coat, let dry, then heavy
Running on mag
All that hard work only to use paint bombs!! Cheap automotive paint with hardner, that's the way to go!will lost decades!!
