- Sometimes you can get new players who don't know what they're doing; that's completely normal. Give that player thousands of dollars to spend on Idle Heroes and you start to run into problems. BIG problems!

I like that you added at the end for him to stay in the community. When it's not your money or mistakes it can be easy to be overly rude in comments, but like you said we all started somewhere. Getting help for the account is a huge step, it's never easy to admit when you make mistakes especially very costly ones.
Thanks for being open about your struggles too, I think a lot of the players forget addiction/mental health can cause you to do things you might normally not do, and you should never berate but educate. No one can learn if they are being shamed.

World chat can be brutal, I have struggled with PTSD, and know that decision making is a huge issue for me, a world chat member decided to slate and try to humiliate me because I was behind, I was making my own time Nd not following chat garbage, I'm happier to wait until I'm feeling levelled to form heroes, and switch off if I feel the urge to make an uneducated purchase, I'm grateful for guild chat and coming here if I need to query something, Thank you for highlighting mental health, an aspect of life that impacts so many people who have the potential to heal immersing themselves in gaming, I feel for those who cannot identify when impulsiveness to make purchases can take over logical thought. Again thankfully We have a block button to be free of trolls, however, sadly some creators do take advantage also and do not apply safeguards/caps, who knows maybe we will see something positivly protective happen in the future, as it appears from my therapist this is classed as mobile gambling, and G.A. is the door to go through,..

I mean if someone can afford it I don't see a difference from paying from, for example, some attraction or paying for the game. In both instances you are paying to just have fun.
This is why I try to watch as many videos as I can. Most of my time is watching your videos and Barry's which occasionally conflict in advice (especially for events)... So I can see how information can be tough to judge in this game.
And even with all the advice, it's hard to know till you know. For example, how many prophet orbs you really need to make progress when you're early. Or wanting a first E5, a Void 4 character, or rewards from an event-- till you actually spend on an event and see if it gets you were it gets you. But watching the videos and having two accounts with one to make mistakes on with minimal money spent and another where you adjust strategy and spend... I'm still caught with both accounts having E5 Garuda and one trying to decide V5 on Garuda (which is what I'm trying) or to finish off E1 Holmes Young or build Eloise ... or E2 Eloise and finishing that off. Either way, at least I've got somewhat of a path and making progress in void. I'm thinking about building a few 6 stars just for void so I can complete the void ark faster but bag space for heroes is also a debate. =)

I think this is one of the best account reviews I've seen. Sucks that the guy didnt have promotion stones and soul symbols to fix his mistakes. Hope he can eventually build an account that is good enough for him to have fun with.

I still think it would be interesting to look at the accounts with the best progression and examine the worst mistakes that are still evident. That might give a clue as to the kind of catastrophes that are survivable.

The great thing about spending is that when you learn what you're doing, you can cover lots of ground faster repairing this.... Also create additional f2p accounts to mess around with and experiment so your main doesn't end up destroyed.
Buuuut fixing this into really strong account going to feel so good! I think this person will have their fun doing it. I personally think it is more intresting to stumble and then fix your mistakes.
if you have core is it good to get core for lord of fear aspen? if thats you want to be main trance?
Save the core chest. LFA's core isn't needed to make progress. When you get SWJ, use it for her core!
My main account is a mess because I was following rules before Idle Heroes did the ads that SAID they messed up. Before the 777/999 codes .... so I was still playing with old rules.
I seriously wish I had found your channel before getting to an E5 hero. I spent ~7 spheres on Crystals and still regret it. It might not be a lot, but god is it debilitating early on.
I've just changed from FQV as Homeowner to LoFA. Not sure the best but had fun.

Here's an idea ( it costs 20 soul symbols tho ) replace the SFX for LoFA and TSDE for SQH you will have all LoFA tennants exept for Drake because ATD is also tenant for LoFA

Why do you need to stockpile soul symbols? I know there's advantages to doing the whole challenge at once, but it's not actually essential, is it?
You’re gonna run out of spiritual essence at some point if you don’t. Also it’s better to do it all in one go as you use less soul symbols and you don’t have to rebuild your main hero multiple times
It's more efficient to time account fixes with Glory Challenge regressions because the Glory Challenge is so greedy for Soul Symbols. And given the number of heroes that ought to be regressed on this account, it's not worth wasting a single soul symbol.

Wouldnt it have been smart to regress the two trans and make them queen and lofa so the xia has proper tenants? Even if it costs 20 soul symbols atleast short term he will be able to make some progress

He taught me a lot, and gave plenty of good advice. Told me what I needed to do to get my account back in the right direction too, I just don't have the resources to fix the mess I made yet, so there wasn't anything he could do.
