I am looking at getting the same set up. How is it? Is the shaft worth the upgrade? How does it feel or compare?

It's hard to say if it's "worth it" for $399 extra. It all depends on the individual and their budget. The other shaft options that LAB has are very good, they are just softer and less consistent. If you have the money to spend on the upgrade or want a MAX performance putter, the TPT shaft upgrade is where it's at!

@@JBernGolfs soft, firm, any putter shaft comes down to repetition and knowing what it does....biggest snake oil in the industry

@@jwenang5364 I disagree. Shafts were tested on a robot and TPT shafts (and other graphite shafts) were found to be the most repeatable. Stock steel shafts were the worst for repeatability. Add that to human repeatability issues and there’s something to be said for having a premium putter shaft.

@@JBernGolfs why are they more repeatable??? explain to me how steel is considered more stable on an iron shaft but for some reason when we get down to a putter that already has very little flex and force put on the shaft...we now somehow need to believe graphite is more "repeatable" than steel? sounds like you drank the kool-aid buddy! the only thing graphite has to offer is better "feel" however subjective that is to the person...not a robot......oh and you also have to consider who's doing the test??

@@jwenang5364 Why is steel not used on drivers anymore? Better performance.
I do not care why they are more repeatable or even what material they are made of. The fact is that TPT and other current graphite shafts (not all) provide better stability on off center strikes, which equates to more putts being closer to the hole. This effect is magnified with heavier putter heads.
Steel iron shafts are not the same as stock steel putter shafts. Also, many current graphite iron shafts have now become equally as stable as steel iron shafts and provide added benefits of being able to be lighter weight if needed.
I would encourage you to go to mygolfspy.com and research for yourself if you want additional information.
P.S. I do not like Kool-aid. Never have, never will 😆

looked to me that every single putt was on line it was either break or speed that made the miss.

Yes, I felt very confident I was starting the putts where I intended them to start, but my reads or my speed was slightly off! You nailed it
