Ryuichi Sakamoto & David Sylvian in the background music as Bowie is interviewed is unreal. So much talent back then at the forefront of music. I was barely born during this interview 😢

"Did they cope with it well?"
That is why Bowie is my hero.
He was like a cat. aloof, mysterious, wandering off to do his own thing, balancing the ecosystem by taking out rodents that would quickly take over the world, but deep down he cared for the people around him.
Too many people don't know that Bowie fought for LGBTQ and Black rights far before it was a trendy thing to do.

When Molly started talking about the people from the Let's Dance film clip, it was nice to see Bowie had a genuine concern for them. So many wouldn't have basically halted the interview to find out such things.

David seemed unsure of himself during his interviews in the 70s; however, once the 80s hit, he appeared to be completely confident and self-assured. Love you forever David Bowie.

Bowie was actually fond of the interviewer. If you search “Molly Meldrum and Bowie” you will find some truly great chats. I think Bowie was weary of defending the concept behind the Let’s Dance video to the Australian media.
