I started really taking my graphic novel reading seriously when I moved to France in 1990. Graphic novel reading is very popular here. Love them but for me the artwork has to be as good as the story. I recommend you try one of my favourites The Arab of the Future by Riad Sattouf. there are 6 of them and they are excellent!
