We must always ask God BEFORE we read the Bible for His Holy Spirit to give us all the understanding of it that He wants us to have and what we NEED. Otherwise, we’re not fit to preach the gospel to anybody!!!
Good video. It is interesting that the quoting of Isaiah 6:9-10 is found in Matthew 13:14-15 to explain why Jesus speaks in parables, John 12:40 to explain why the crowd (Jews primarily) didn't believe in Him, and Acts 28:26-27, when Paul preached to the Jews in Rome, this is the reason they rejected the message, and he therefore went to the Gentiles(Acts 28:28). It would seem that judgment is clearly in mind when the Isaiah verses are quoted.
Hello Sir! We can see that The Leaders had overcome on different pandemics by praying during fasting. Please a video sermon in which suggest the authorities of Christian Governments to overcome the pandemic of coronavirus by praying and fasting nationally
Uh… this sounds like the difference between how an intuitive speaks/communicates versus a sensor (personality typing and understanding; MBTI). Sensors are more likely to interpret lessons more literally and concretely whereas intuitives speak in more abstract gists and principles to live by that can be interpreted and applied in any context… it paints a picture faster but people who lack imagination or the ability to take broad concepts and apply them can struggle. A sensor (someone with higher extraverted sensing or introverted sensing will struggle to interpret abstract story-telling). Jesus likely told stories in parables because that is the way his brain was designed to communicate but that is not how everyone gives and receives information.
Because only a few has been given to understand the secrets of the kingdom, but it has not been given to the church. The church certainly hear the word of God, but the church still live and think according to the false teachings of religious teachers. Their consciousness is unknowing and empty, therefore the church must first learn to live and think. What would be better to make the church come alive and think, if not through speaking in parables?
If one comes to you with mystic saying and stories and professes that he has truth but you reply that his words are unclear and you need clarification to understand and the speaker does not clarify, how is one to judge the claims of the speaker? If this same reasoning was applied to other religions or other philosphy we would say the speaker is dancing around the subject.
