    Why do people in all of these missing cases always act like these young missing people are out just taking walks AND leaving their phones (and other personal belongings) behind when a phone is usually glued to most young people's hand at all times??? 🤷🏾‍♂️

    I am glad that Michaela is back home, but it is sad that both homes have no structure for her. Autistic kids need to be in a stable environment, routine is very important. This case is somewhat complicated because both parents accusing one another. What have to be done for sure is to focus on Michaela, her wellbeing, her mental state. Autistic kids have difficulty to socialize. You need to learn how to act and react on their questions and answers. They can very direct, which some people take them as being rude, but they are misunderstood. I feel sad for Michaela going through this at such a young age. I hope she can get the help she needs. Urgently

    I think she ran away and she realized that she needed to go home because where she was wasn't safe, I also believe that probably some things happen to her.. she seems to be a confused young lady but also you have to also realize that these kids can be manipulators..

      Houston is a sex trafficking hotspot, particularly notorious for the prostitution of underage white boys, but like any city, girls and women of all races can be found doing sex work there, voluntarily or otherwise.
      If the mother knows Michaela was sex trafficked she may not want to make that public and Michaela may have asked her mother to say nothing.

    Noticing how every case 9 out of 10 cases they turn into a mental health case when they are murder cases. I don't like that because I automatically think it's a cover up.

    • @MrStoryBox

    Being kidnapped, trafficked and returned home is not unheard of. Houston is one of the top cities for trafficking. It may have been someone who pulled up, maybe asked for directions and grabbed her. She's petite and may be socially awkward which makes her a vulnerable 20 yr old.

    • @MrStoryBox
      @MrStoryBox  ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Well it was apparently the brother who locked the door. But I’m still not sure if her keys were also locked outside or not.
      I assume if they were then the door must have been double locked, but the details provided by the family are just so vague it’s impossible to know!
      Also why did she walk off and leave her phone? So so weird

    Man 😨 , having autism as well memories and trauma is very interesting. In some ways as a mature adult now I have actually tried to remember and it's like my brain at a point just shut off. Too much overload in so many ways just erased some of those moments. She would need help understanding herself so she can safely process what is happening to her and then help healing.

    When you never had a real place to call *home* you spend year after year trying to find one. It's safe to say she's been brought up in chaos and instability, as many of us have. She's young and will eventually find her way in life with some confidence and hand-picked family she meets along the way. I'd leave the medical diagnoses to professionals rather than her father, as what he was describing was closer to depression and bipolar disorder; not autism (they no longer use Asperger's diagnosis, which my doctor recently informed me after giving me that same diagnosis some 20 years ago, LOL). Her parents need to get their shit together and stop arguing on social media, that's so embarrassing. Come together and support your child.
