Oh my goodness! This was really worth the wait. Had to wait a whole month as I couldn't find any yeast in the whole of Milton Keynes! The kids were on it as I was frying! Had less than half when I finished. Light and fluffy, and did not soak up the oil. Thanks for sharing this recipe. Never gonna buy bofrot ever again!

Sis, to be honest, they taste the same so I’ve long since not been adding milk. However there’s a slight difference in the measurements so whichever one you make follow the ingredients listed for that....how about you try both on separate days and decide which is your favorite?😉

How warm should the water be, I made puff puff the other day and it didn't swell. I used instant yeast. I'm not sure what I did incorrectly.

Hi Kwankyewaa please does the yeast have to be only “fast rising yeast” or it can be any type of yeast?
It can be any type please. The time it takes to rise may however vary (which does even with fast or rapid rise)
