Well that was a cup half full or cup half empty situation Derek, unlucky to get a puncture at all but lucky not to have gotten it at higher speed. You have to wonder if there was sabotage, when you consider how much bike traffic that road would have had recently. There was a local woman caught spreading tacks on the NC500 because she objected to the increased traffic it now attracts.
It was fine when we left the hotel I always check the tyres and pressure it was quite a big hole with a circle impression around it like a large pop rivet had gone through it with that and the fuelling problem I’m starting to believe if I didn’t have any bad look I’d have none at all I never put it in the video I had a spill has well think that ninja is jinxed the R&G engine crash protection all scrapped away top box need to be repainted plastic bikes are not worth the money 👍🏍️😎

Another enjoyable ride Derek, the scenery is wonderful and the weather perfect for riding. Bad luck struck again with engine cutting out which you were lucky enough to get started again in part 1. Then you get a puncture in this episode, you couldn't write mate. I did wonder what the cost is to get a return on the ferry to the IOM. 😊👍🏍
Hi John if there wasn’t bad luck I’d have no luck it always seems to happen to me. The ferry I booked end of January this year reason why they do a save over the week £157 return with the bike which is a fair price thank you 👍🏍️ part 3 is a bit faster riding

Blimey! I remember you saying to me at Saddlebags ride that the only luck you get is bad luck. Carol managed a rear puncture near that spot way back in 2015. I remember riding the mountain section, then on my Versys 1000. Think on the vid way back on my channel you can see 133MPH, she wouldn't have much more uphill 🤣🤣

@@RRRRefuelRideRace yes Gregor I went around the IOM on it and nearly touch 140 mph with it then yesterday went to Suffolk and Great Yarmouth on still plenty of tread but looking for the Michelin Road 6’s for it
@@TommySlingshot them new Continental attack Road4 I’ve ordered a new be here tomorrow glue the new front mudguard back together I’m not buying another one also replaced the R&G crash protection on the engine new bar end luckily the fairing did get damaged after the slide 👍🏍️. Part 3 good
