Due to popular demand, I finally got a JM-X2 Glock-style gel blaster. I'm not a fan of replica blasters, but since I've gotten so many requests about this blaster I finally got one with the intent to tear it down, see what's inside, and modify it with metal gears. The X2 gel blaster is notorious for stripping gears. There is a metal gear kit available, so in another video, I will show how to replace plastic gears with metal gears.

Heard nothing but bad things about the x2 but there is an updated version the x5 it’s a 1911 style not a Glock but it’s been upgraded to resolve the issues the x2 has

trust me the x-2 is a bad gel blaster, i’ve had it for a couple of months now and i’m not over exaggerating it’s probably broke over 30 times. Either the plastic of the gun broke and i super glue it back or the gears breaking and i have to buy a new gear box, the trigger breaks extremely fast, i’ve gone through 3 triggers. I do have metal gears now but even with metal gears the one that’s on the motor looks like it’s stripping. sometimes the wiring even falls off the motor and i have to put it back. but at this point idc i’m just experimenting with it. I bought a new torch/flashlight and i cut the wires because i bought an 11.1v battery and i cut the wires on the battery too and connected them together so it can shoot faster, and that with the metal gear’s surprisingly works wayyyyy better then i thought. it’s actually lasting. but rn i took it apart because one of the wires messed up again and i’m going to keep it taken apart because i have gear grease for it about to arrive any day now

2:28 i bought a cheap gel blaster and had to cut parts of it out to make the battery fit when they make the hole they dont take in account that the cables wont able able to fit
edit mine also has a screw hole but not with a screw ive never had an issue with the battery compartment coming lose

That's fine, if you only play at home... I carry blasters to other places to play (private property, but other people can still see you). Don't see the point of sim guns for gel blasters. Airsoft has that covered.
