@@erintempleton1342 There were a few episodes of the Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon were they referred to him as "Bowser Koopa".
I want the new Mario movie to have a reference to the Mario cartoons so badly. This is really well made, by the way!

They already do. The koopa troopa are like guards in the movie like they were in the cartoon.
They already do, the overworld theme sound effect after bowser says "now who's gonna stop me!" is the same sound effect at the beginning of the super show intro

They might reference it, but the cartoon is completely different. It's solely based on Super Mario Brothers 3, so there's no Bowser, Peach, magikoopa, Bowser Jr. etc. and power ups are pretty much limited to just the leaf and fire flower. The Mario movie is set in a completely different version of "Super Mario" altogether.
Seeing the Koopas fighting Bowser here makes me wonder if the movie is gonna ever talk about the friendly Koopas that sometimes have shown up in Mario Parties and in RPGs or if it’ll just gloss over that.
Those are games are spinoffs that Nintendo ignores.

Y'all just gonna pretend like Super Mario Odyssey doesn't exist? All the Koopas in that game were friendly, and it's a mainline (not a spin-off) Mario Game!

Not bad at all! Makes me hope that we get a reboot of the cartoon, like Ducktales did.
Every time I hear it, Chris's Mario voice grows on me a little more. I don't think it's bad, it's just surprising. This is hot take, but I think it really does have potential. Obviously people are going to be stubborn and are always going to nitpick things, but this movie isn't going to please anybody if we don't stop demanding Italian winnie the pooh. Mario has always been up to interpretation, and the guys we're used to like Charles Martinet and Captain Lou Albano were just doing their own interpretations. This is the one that, after years of planning, Nintendo picked. Personally, I went into this trailer knowing that Chris wasn't going to be familiar in the role, and, although it was a shock to hear out of Mario, I didn't despise it. And now it's starting to grow on me.

I heard Bowser's gonna have a song number so that doesn't sound far off.
Toad's voice kinda matches the cartoon counterpart tbh
Speaking of the cartoons, I wonder if Yoav tzafir, ran guetta, shay zornitzer and Ido mosseri would reprise their roles as Mario Luigi toad and Bowser in the Hebrew version of the film (if there will be one).
parts of that were good, parts I felt could have lined up better but I do not have every episode on hand to find out the 1st part was very amazingly close

#PastaPower. Having grown up with this, I get a kick out of it and would say you did a decent job reenacting the movie trailer. Tho I get why the Troopas are being used, I almost went "Why is Bowser attacking his own men?" Lol

This is the greatest way to recreate the teaser that I've seen so far
This cartoon is actually the reason why I don't mind Chris Pratt as Mario instead of Charles Martinet. Whenever I read a Mario comic online I always imagine his voice as the VA from the SMB3 and SMW cartoons. So as a result, I am open to having another VA attempt Mario other than Charles, as great as his Mario voice is.
What if you were in the theater all hyped for the movie and it was just 2 hour loop of the cdi mario videos 😆 I HOPE HE BRINGS LOTS OF SPAGETTI!!!

You uploaded clips of every Super Mario TV series for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, is Chris Pratt like Classic Mario, Charlie Day like Classic Luigi, Keegan-Michael Key like Toon Toad and Jack Black like King Koopa. I hope get uploaded remake films for Super Mario Movie with YTP, 8 bit and more, after cinema movie to next year.
Since Mario just pops up in the mushroom kingdom and says "what is this place", and they got a new voice actor for him, I think they're going back to the origin story from the cartoons, where Mario and Luigi lived in Brooklyn until they are transported to the mushroom kingdom.
It does make me hopeful that the 3-D movie will be just as good.

I would especially of the SMB3/Super Mario World ones those lasted way shorter then the 52 ones based on SMB2 But despite that the Super Mario Bros Super Show Cartoons first based on SMB 2 the show replaced Wart with Bowser but KEPT the rest of the SMB 2 enemies in it.
