    Hi Steve, I've just purchased the HS720G, and see that the app HS recommend is the Ophelia Fly, I still have the M RC Pro app which you recommended previously, and which I used with my HS720, so which do you prefer as the better one to use please with the HS720G

    Hello Steve, I have a question about setting up my HS700E, I want to fly in non-gps mode, the set up reads" Hello, I am setting up my HS700E, During the paring calibration, right before you start the gyro calibration it states it splits into two modes, first use, and non first use. What does this mean?? Is one for non GPS mode, another words you stop beffore the gyro calibration?? Holy Stone did not know??

    • @2CatMedia
      @2CatMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Charles,
      Does it refer to first use as on your first use of the drone ? And non first use may mean you already know what to do. It should have a GPS switch on the transmitter

    Once I forgot to put a TF card in my drone and was disappointed. Then I remembered that the Ophelia Go App records. Unfortuneatley I can not she the videos from the app. I am getting a message saying the the file format is not compatible even though it says it is MP4. I share MP4 videos all the time. Any ideas? I also can't seem to find the videos on my phone either.

    I would like to hear more about this app! The Hollystone u are testing,is it a toy or hobby grade ,I mean Profesional? I kinda stepped away from drones when it was clear if you want something decent, it has to be as heavy as a feather, and well then 4-500$ for a modal that a new version would be released a month later! I love drones but the fun can be sucked out of the so heavily regulated, lack of competitive brands! I can't help but think eventually only Amazon and Military/Law enforcement agencies will be able to fly these things I have gained such a love for, test that new Hollystone in the poor weather

  • @n206ja
    @n206ja 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I had a Holystone HS 120D drone that required both compass calibration AND GPS calibration. I notice the instruction manual with my Holystone 720e does not mention GPS calibration at all. I contacted Holystone support and they (quickly!) responded and said the GPS recalibrates automatically after the compass calibration is completed and be sure to have it on a level surface and that I get solid red and green lights. If this GPS calibration happens automatically, do you think some of the erratic flights reported could be due to not getting the drone level quickly enough after compass calibration? (I guess, however, you shouldn't have solid red and green lights if that occurred? However, they're difficult to see in bright sunlight.) Do you think there's any value to doing a manual GPS calibration despite the drone is supposed to do it automatically?
    Thanks so much for your truly useful, entertaining, and thorough reviews!

    • @2CatMedia
      @2CatMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi John, yes from what I believe I does self level as soon as you place it down. So really you only need to do the compass calibration.

    • @2CatMedia
      @2CatMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need a 5 GHz WiFi compatible phone, mist drones connect at 2.4 GHz from the drone to the controller. But, the app and phone connect to the drones camera at 5ghz normally. If you are able too try a another phone that has 5ghz or even a tablet to see if that works.

    Hey Steve, that is the same app they send me from factory, they claim I gets 500 meters distance. I installed it and still getting the same 200 meters as on the MC PRO, I emailed them again on the weekend and they told me to make sure I set the parameters while drone is on (which I did) I will try it again of not getting more distance I will email them again. They need to come up with a better versión or maybe is the drone itself that can not transmit after 200 meters. Lets see...

    • @2CatMedia
      @2CatMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi aldon, I reckon it could be the transmitter or drone as if it same on this app and MRC pro then I think that says alot.

    Hi Steve! I would like to clarify if the geo calibration is still done? And if so, should I need to do the geo calibration or just the only calibration on the app? Since we all know we can do 2 calibrations on the remote control itself. Thank you for the response in advance!

    • @dom_6537
      @dom_6537 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To simply my question, We can only see geomagnitism calibration on the Ophelia Go Sensor Status. So does that mean we wouldn't have to do 2 calibrations anymore, like before?
