Not just in terms of the gun meta but the game overall. We've come so far we managed to reach full circle 😂 with shotguns and gibby back in the meta, of course with the added tweaks here and there. It also really justifies that the akimbo mozams really was the most outrageous gun meta to grace the game. Pros and casuals alike wanted to see it gone asap, including myself. As a controller player, the smg meta is always missed. Seeing all these clips of one mag sprays gets me so nostalgic and electrified, i hope one day we circle back to that too without making it too overpowered. And the thing with the Mozam meta, is that I think it was actually good and fun for a little to shake up the game. It felt good to be that strong, I dropped 16 kills just casually playing with friends one day and didnt realize till after if I actually tried woulda got the 20. I didnt want them to be in that state for long, but sometimes it doesnt hurt to have that and keep the game feel different

I'd love to bring some friends who play this game casually into the scene especially since this game is trending downwards but I still want to see it suceed.

Sad part is those super high level in depth analyses just don't appeal to the casual viewer, ofc I love them but for the regular apex player it's just not gonna draw them in. I think the intro to Jhawk's TSM vid after year 3 champs was the closest they ever got to becoming regular ALGS viewers, if only there were more documentary style ALGS vids that had extreme amounts of effort put into every minute... I mean, doesn’t this guy root for Toronto’s very own Maple Leafs (who are a lock to win the Stanley this season)? All that being said, It’s a great hat, no doubt. In fact, might be a top 5 hat
So I saw a really cool Toronto Maple Leafs hat online and it was only sold at the NHL shop in NYC. So I flew all the way to NYC and they sold out of JUST the Maple Leafs hats. We run the hockey world I guess. Felt only right to get a Rangers hat as consolation since I was there.
For me the most bizarre- and disgusting meta was the SMG/smoke meta: getting eliminated without seeing shit is worse than getting pumped with AkiMozams in 2024 or now the Mastiff.
it is crazy though like going from each weapon meta i feel comfortable in saying shotty metas jsut are the least skilled and its not even close and that's not including characters to help it more i.e gibby newcastle being able to pull cover out ur ass and jiggle peak
I'd have to disagree. This current iteration of the shotgun meta may feel less skilled cause supports are so strong, resets are easy and you have both Gibby and NC combined. In the first era back in 2020 it was much harder, Gibby's bubble cooldown was pretty long. Using it to fight meant you didn't have it to rotate, couldnt protect yourself from a gib ult, etc... And trying to bait out the opposing teams bubble first was always a challenge. Also the skill of bubble fighting isn't easy. I'd say 90% of Apex players tend to get it wrong. All that to say I'd argue it took more skill than SMG/Horizon meta. Only thing about SMG meta was that MnK players were at such a big disadvantage, not that the fighting was harder.
@@JumbaGW yea i get u, in terms of comp though newcastle gibby meta just means u can make mistakes or bad positioning and it can still work with the ability to cycle util so easily. in terms of weapon i just really cannot agree landing 3 shots and killing someone isnt harder to do than 1 clipping i know its different and it really does simplify the whole gun skill but mag size to damage out put is the issue 5 round mastiff with gibby that auto reloads u can just 1V3 without having to worry about positioning playing angles as long as u can jiggle a bit of cover its winnable u just have unlimited ammo. new aim assist values though i do think will funnel out some frauds because yea aim assist is still decent but it definitely isnt enough to carry like it did and if we get a weapon meta which requires consistency i.e smg tracking then yea i just feel more bullets it takes higher skill gap u need to land more to kill

I think the g7 might end up as most used this lan. Better ammo economy and good for breaking new castle and rampart util
