So beautiful. Freddie is exquisite. The studio version is all Freddie's vocals layered, it's beautiful.

Awww .. Beautiful not-yet recorded song penned by Freddie!! He wrote it to woo that special someone who was in attendance at this concert!! Freddie “woo’d” the world as well. The studio version is worth a listen with its multi-layers of harmonies!

Freddie ensured us a small insight into his soul with one of the most beautiful love songs.

Absolutely love this performance. Freddie had a quite beautiful voice as we all know and his piano playing is hugely underestimated. But it is the passion and tone in his performance that often goes unnoticed. It is literally like he is singing directly to you and his desperation is almost painful to listen to in this song. An amazing performer and notably a musician

Breathtaking and stunning. I love this performance. Freddie did this solo because the band hadn't recorded it yet, so only Freddie knew it. The studio version is much more of a production. There is Brian May playing a Harp and John playing an Upright Bass, it is a beautiful song as well. Thank you for your reaction.

You confuse the songs. The harp is in "Love of my life" not in this one.

To see another side of Queen, listen to Who Wants to Live Forever, live at Budapest. It will Take Your Breath Away.

Another early Queen song that is outstanding is Liar at the Rainbow.John sings with Freddie and his bass is point on.

So beautiful and almost a feeling of intimacy . The studio version is equally wonderful and different at the same time Would be a difficult choice to make but there is something about Freddie alone at his piano with a huge hushed audience 🌷

WOW! Thanks for the shout-out! This performance truly is a favorite. It's the most yearning love song I think there really is out there. And did you catch the moment (I think) he's being his own metronome? 🤭😍 The crowd was more than 150,000 and still he sings so softly!

I heard the studio album version before this. It's full of richness and Freddie harmonizing with himself. I thought it very beautiful. But when I heard and saw this one -it took over my heart. Just a piano, and Freddie baring his soul for the person he loved. Perfection.

What a wonderful reaction- thank you- you know he also wrote ‘Melancholy Blues’ - it’s funny you said this song was melancholy-

This beautiful song was from the Day at the Races album. The piano and multi-tracked vocals are all Freddie with, of course, Brian on lead guitar, John on bass, and Roger on percussion. If you listen to the studio version, make sure you listen all the way to the end. There is a point where most reactors I've seen think it's over, but there's still just a little bit more that most of them miss.

Highly recommend listening to the studio version as well - just as beautiful, but with Freddie’s lush multitracked harmonies. Spine tingling!!

thanks, Breakdown..you also should listen to the album version, though - the harmonies and instrumentation represent Freddie's full "vision" for the song... Look forward to more of your reactions...

this song was recorded on a "Debussy and guests" evening without announcement and without video. After the second bar everyone recognized the singer and there was a huge round of applause. Gradually, his songs manage to leave the "rock and roll".

Absolutely hypnotic-one of my favorite performances. Thanks. Also check out It’s A Kind of Magic and Under Pressure at Wembley, Somebody To Love, Save Me, Dragon Attack 1981 in Montreal. My favorite songs are In The Lap of the Gods and White Queen 1976 live at the Odeon Hammersmith. Also Freddie’s songs for Dave Clark : In My Defense and Time Waits For No one. ❤😢

If you want to see Freddie and the band at their best, watch Queen at Live Aid 1985. I promise you won't be disappointed.

@@breakdownlounge9541 you need to watch the whole 20 minutes to really appreciate how outstanding they were. Even the other groups performing admitted that Queen "stole the show".

As good as they were as a live band, the live renditions of their songs were very often truncated and thin-sounding and quite rough. Their early live performances (early 70s) are so much better than their later ones.

Please do more queen. bohemian rhapsody (studio version only because the video does things that they can't do on stage) otherwise the live versions are the best. Also other songs like somebody to love, love of my life, the live aid concert and any other you haven't heard before. Also I didn't see any led zeppelin in your videos or the bee gees, or many 60's and 70's bands/singers. so many great bands came out of those decades. I can say that 60's and 70's bands are the ones to react to because those were the days of the baby boomers which is a very large audience and now that we are retiring age we have more time to watch reactions to the music we grew up with. Your subscribers would skyrocket if you did a lot of that music. Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Janice Joplin, look up who preformed at woodstock for starters. There are a lot of us older people that first look up reaction videos to our favorites when we feel like watching reactions and we subscribe to the ones that are doing our favorites. You would be surprised how many young people are starting to really love the older bands like this one. They had real talent back then and sounded as good if not better live than they did on their albums. Thank you for the reaction and if I see you doing more of the old bands I will subscribe but I don't subscribe to anyone that does a lot of heavy metal or rap without many good bands in their list. I mean, I will subscribe with some of that music because I don't have to click on it but there is no reason for me to subscribe if those good bands are few and far between since it just clogs up my list with things I won't listen to. Again thank you for this great reaction and good luck to you.
