I missed Obama when he expanded the wars into Syria, Lybia, and Yemen, or when he killed more civilians with drones than any other seated president, or when he didn't close Gitmo, or when he never prosecuted the banking industry for bankrupting our country, or when he appointed Goldman Sacs executives to his White House board, or when he pretended to care about the poisoned water in Flint, or when he gave us a right wing healthcare plan, or when he deported more immigrants than any prior president (even fucking piece of shit Bush), or when expanded the surveillance state... I can go on. He is only missed because Trump is awful, but he was by no means a GOOD president.

It's not likely at all that he had no preparation. Standard procedure is for the show staff to sit down with the guests in the green room and go over what will be talked about.
