This man is a national treasure
We need to Re-Peele and Re-Key instead of repeal and replace
That is a masterful wordplay sir.
Simon Anand nice one!
Congratulations good sir, you have won the internets today.
Your brain, I like it
Genuine lol to you Simon.
This guy is so bubbly, it's awesome
If he were a female, he'd be called an "annoying bubbly bitch." It's sad.
And if he were an apache attack helicopter, he'd be called "irrelevant bubbly apache attack helicopter".
And if he were a big bad game of Bubble Bobble made of baloney in Babylon, he'd be called a 'big bad bubbly Babylonian baloney Bubble Bobble'.
faregon Irrelevant? And you are... who?
I do kinda wonder if he's on coke =/ I mean, I love the guy, but please take time to breathe, buddy
For all those who don't know Keegan-Michael Key, he's not on coke or on speed... He's just that way. He often talked about it. He's hyperactive and always turned up to 11 without the use of drugs. Now imagine if he DID drugs... That wouldn't be pretty!
Just listen to Jordan Peele's take on his friend's demented energy. It's difficult to tone him down! XD
depends on which drug, like i bet he would be pretty mellow on some Ketamine, Hash or heroin. Meth, that would be too intense or cocaine, he'd be a bit overbearing i'd guess
I'm hyperactive and if you give me speed, I'd literally slow down. was prescribed all kinds of stuff in high school. aderoll, concerta, ridillin ..
Infinite Loop Basically ADHD, but he figured out how to harness the crazy energy!
L.D. LeDay Same here, Ridalin and Prozac were of no help. Ultimately I found coffee works best. That and having lots of hobbies as a sort of release valve.
+Cyro-Nydd & LD it's Ritalin and it's a stimulant. If you had adhd it'd work.
God this is the best show ever. Can't wait to see it every night
That Cathedral Guy yep
I hope he continues well, and that he never suffers from the real depression and problems that comedians in this country often do. So elegant, so smart, so funny, so talented.
He'll be aight bruh lol
I'd marry him in a heartbeat!!! 💓 💗 💕 💖
Such a gifted man!
My theater nerd is gleaming of happiness with this segment!!
Wow, I wish I could see the pairing of Oscar Isaac as Hamlet & Keegan-Michael Key as Horatio, I bet that's a killer show!
I saw him in Hamlet. He was incredible! Didn't get to meet him but his performance was phenomenal
"To the window. To the wall. To the sweat drops from my balls" quote is one of the lesser known great quotes from Henry V play. Pretty legit Shakespearean. Too bad the audiences and commenters below don't know how to appreciates lesser known Shakespearean quotes.
I don't get why no one ever talks about how hot Keegan-Michael Key is...
So freaking hot
I mean, I want to, but nobody ever brings it up! He’s like one of the most handsome men I’ve ever seen
"Water is for closers"
I didn't think I could love him more. I was wrong
She is not alone.
Keegan's appearances as the Hypothetical Criminal in Reno 911! were....blissfully funny. The man is walking talent. Hope there's a DVD of him in Hamlet!
He is one of the most genuinely nice and funny guys out there.
Key is a beautiful man.. Who could be any nationality and every color hes is so funny
9:24 - I always wondered how celebrities react to seeing themselves referenced in TV/movies/etc. This was great to see.
Today is a good day, healthcare exists and we get to see key and peele with Stephen Colbert 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Siri I only saw key....
Jack LaBarge Ha! I can clearly see Peele right beside him.
Congratulations on having healthcare. Now if you would kindly follow me to the asylum...
That clip at the end tho. God same
Keegan has ALWAYS been like this since MADtv. He's not on drugs people...
Heather Thomas omg that's right he was on that show! Thanks for the flashback
titty429 he was great on it too! Remember Coach Hines? Lol too good 😂
Heather Thomas Or..counterpoint...he’s been on drugs since then...🤷🏽♀️🙃
@@hthumbs4072 I luv coach Hines hilarious
Obama's anger translator😂😂
Even to be Obama’s anger translator you have to have a masters degree lol
Kee-Key!
New Message sell me ur TH-cam account
New Message selling?
i still remember the day when he first appeared as a guest on MadTV and I was amazed by his coaching skit. He became part of the permanent cast in no time. It's amazing to hear more about Keegan-Michael Key. SOOO HAPPY FOR HIM!!!
He came out to a band doing everyday I'm hustlin this the best one just for that
God I love Keegan-Michael Key
First John Oliver got mistaken for Stephen Colbert, now Stephen Colbert is mistaken for Jimmy Colbert, and I suppose Stephen Fallon is now John Kimmel
So which one's Conan Oliver?
SirJakobos that would be James O'Brien
maistromann .
maistromann .
Don't forget Bill O'Letterman
He is so funking high energy that he makes me anxious just watching this
Can we all focus on how amazing Key's walk-in music was? BADASS.
Thank you Keegan for inventing Luther, Pres. Obama's anger translator - I really miss them both.
definitely not an outlier in her demographic
same
I know! Who wouldn't want to date someone who can make you laugh? Plus, he has such a handsome smile.
for sure, for sure
I second this
Same
I'm not surprised. Keegan is so talented and it shows that he's a trained actor. You can see it in his work. He's really good!
He's awesome sauce.
If Key wants to do drama and Peele wants to do serious movies and they're both good at it, why don't they then work together on a serious movie?
Matt Musky nope. That will still bring in the image of key & Peele
Christine Awuor Not if Jordan is just directing.
You mean like the Number 23, which left theaters full of people waiting in breathless anticipation for the moment mister Rubber-Face goes crazy?!?
Because Peele loves horror and Key loves drama, Key has said he would appear in a Peele movie but he would be terrified cos horror just ain't his thing. He likes drama and musicals
“In case y’all ain’t noticed, Denmark is BONE DRY!!”
Full of energy, key and peele I miss their show 😒😔
Key is brilliant. Love him!
It's soooo cute how Stephen gets so flattered and giggly at 9:31 after he sees that clip😂
He must be high on potenuse
Blasphemous Wombat that was my joke
Blasphemous Wombat He must be high on potenuse
Blasphemous Wombat lol hahahahhahahhahahahhahahjahajajjajajaha
the best joke ever hahahah
Blasphemous Wombat he putted the pussy on the chainwax . (i dont even know what that exactly mean, I'm brazilian haha)
I saw Keegan Michael Key as Lucio in Measure for Measure in 1996
she got it right... not an outlier at all
"Water is for closers!"
lol
I saw him at The Public (with Oscar Isaac as Hamlet) - phenomenal performance.
Fun fact: they've both been on Whose Line Is It Anyway. Though Keegan quite a bit more.
He and Jordan were also amazing on MADtv.
OH YES! I LOVE KEEGAN!
BUT DAAAAAAMN, man? Cocaine? D:
I'm going to watch that show because of this clip. Damn I found my people.
That guy really speaks with his hands so much
Mark Callaghan Must be Italian.
A lot of stage actors and comedians tend to because a lot is communicated through body language.
Mark Callaghan speaks with his hands more than an Italian.
I'm one, I should know.
Mark Callaghan problem?
Keegan is so incredible, and hillarious!!
Friends from college is great.. Watch it on Netflix
2:54 😆 Love love the Glengarry Glen Ross reference. ABC always be closing! David Mamet says thank you kind sirs
MacBeth is awesome. I learned about the knock knock jokes senior year of high school.
"Things are never good nor bad, thinking makes it so" - Hamlet
Augh, I wish you guys all gave Colbert this much attention back in the Colbert Report when he earned it early on-- The Daily Show even! Been on my bucket list of people to meet since
I love these two guys sooo much!!!
what a guy...sooo good
I only clicked because of Jackass 2. "You know Karate! But I know Ka-razy!"
The band's did a great rendition of Everyday I'm Hustlin!!
“NO! Answer the damn question!”
Key is a living legend!
As You Like It was one of my favs! Hilarious.
I love his goddamn energy
Damn damn damn this was so good
I love BOTH of these guys for the Glengarry references!!
The closed captions are atrocious.
The translated 'Othello' to 'Anthemo' I can't handle it lol
Friends from college my new favorite show.
I actually watched the show a couple weeks ago and wondered if Stephen will ever gonna see that part, and now I found this. I feel strangely complete.
“To the window, to the wall…” was actually a Ying Yang Twins quote.
Keegan-Michael Key is so brilliant and funny.
Keegan-Michael Key, that's no question!
When Key said, "This is ABC..." Stephens face froze like" oh fuck. no no no no man.. this is CBS!"
I need to see this show.
Thanks The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.:)
Keegan's laugh is life
that was one of the smoothest walk on songs.
i love this
Yeah, Shakespeare was a funny guy. I like the story where there was human meat pie.
LoL, it's the 4th dimension space cop talking to Zeep of Rick's car battery.
I cannot imagine Key in Drama! I mean look at him, he's so engrossed in his TV character that he can't even have a cool conversation. Look at how composed Colbert is.
"...answer the damn question!"🤣🤣🤣
i've loved him since he was Coach Hines on Madtv xD!
amazing
Damn, this interview and the Bill Burr interview are night and day.
This is great! I've always struggled to answer if "Hamlet" is one of Shakespeare's tragedies or comedies. I suddenly don't feel so alone. =)
He got his monologue IN, forever online 😂😂😂😂😂
I want them to make that Hamlet movie!
Happy Days are,
Here Again.
He's a wise man!
is this guy that was Obama's anger translator?
DigitalMan34 Yes he was. Google his act with Peele.Very funny.
...just in case people missed the movie reference...'ABC, Always Be Closing' and '...it's for closers', is from a great movie called Glengary Glen Ross...legendary actors, great performaces
everyday I'm hustling
Does anyone else wonder what they whisper about when they cut away to commercial breaks?
Two of my favourite men in the world :)
Keegan-Michael Key to me is like a tamer black jim carrey. I love em.
After I finished watching this, I was like this interview was really short , it felt like 3 minitues video, then ups that was 9 minitues 50 seconds! I mean he is Keegan-Michael Key why wouldn't time fly this fast while watching him? right?
I watched Friends from College in one night. It's not bad.
Friends from College is really funny. Dark. Twisted. But really smart and funny.
Seems like they have a beautiful bromance lol
For a second, at 7:45, I legitimately thought I was hearing a Windows XP computer shut down in the background.
Radiocage yep. Right after that point
