You will not find anyone better than Dr. A!
I had three surgeries in one gastric sleeve, gallbladder due to gallstones, and an unknown hernia. He saved my life in many ways. I recommend Dr A to all of my patients who are considering weight loss and I tell them about my experience. I am currently 3 weeks out as of Friday and I am down 32 lbs.

Thank you for this information I keep hearing negative about wls and it is making me scared. Then I hear gastric bypass is not safe however, I was planning for VSG instead.
I really want to get healthy and shun all the negativity people are saying. Like you mentioned being obese is more of a higher risk than wls. Thanks for sharing this information.

Hi Patience! 😊 I had VSG on November 10th of 2022, and I am doing fantastic. Please don’t let anyone’s negativity stop you from getting healthy. Could there be complications? Sure, as with any major surgery. VSG is a major surgery. “Could” being the operative word. If you have a good surgeon he/she will be there for you at all times. Please don’t be afraid. I’m down almost 40 lbs from November and I still feel great. Take the post op meds that are prescribed and you’ll do great. I have faith in you girl. Just don’t wait too long, because it is a lengthy process. (Paperwork, insurance and many pre-appointments) My best advice to you would be, DO IT! 😁 When you see the weight starting to come off and your body getting healthy, you’re gonna say, why did I listen to all the negativity. GO FOR IT! You Got This! 🤗🙏🏻❤️ I really hope my little rant put your mind at ease. I got you! God bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻 and good health 😊😊

I am with you, and a lot of the "regrets" or negativity about it seems that difficulty with maintaining the changes after.
The problem is finding some one who has had it for a very long time and their own feed back. Most people I see are only a year or two out at most and no one longer.

Thays excatly what I'm thinking what are the long term affects? It sounds nice to do it cis you'll feel better but where the long term science to back up how it affects the body in a long term ??? You have to ask yourself that so many people want the easy route bit don't want to work hard for it.

I discovered your channel and it is my new favorite ! Very helpful and informative. I am finally following through with the surgery and I've been having a lot of anxiety and worry about complications or dying and this video helps put me at ease. I've realized that if I choose to leave my extra weight on, my life will be cut short. I just found out that I'm going to become a grandma so I want to be in good shape to keep up with him.

Would you consider yourself a Master Surgeon? From what I’ve seen in your videos you really know what you’re doing and talking about. I’m saddened that I could not have you as my surgeon as I’m here in the states. My surgery was this past November 10th. I would have loved to have met you. So far I’m doing as good as can be expected. I’m down 21 pounds. Thank you so much for your videos. Had it not been for you, I may not have had my VSG. ❤ God Bless

@JENNIFER KENT surgery went great! Had some gas pain and nausea for the next 2 days, and the normal tenderness of the incision sites, but no complications or complaints at all. Dr.A and his team took GREAT care of me and addressed all my concerns before discharge.

@cztkxz4102 I am doing great. I'm currently down to roughly 165 lbs, my weight the morning of surgery was 286. I feel better than I ever have. I still keep in touch with Dr. A to this day.

Question - will the ghrelin hormone still be in tact with the endoscopic sleeve? I know it gets cut with the vertical sleeve.
