  • In this episode of These Three Things, Deb sits down with Jeff Atmajian, internationally renowned orchestrator, arranger and conductor. Jeff candidly shares the three elements that have profoundly impacted his life and career.
First, he honours Christopher Palmer, the musical mentor who crossed his path one day in LA. Christopher brought with him opportunities for Jeff's musical career early on. Plus his teachings greatly influenced Jeff's boundless creativity and approach to orchestrating and arranging music.
Next, Jeff talks about his beloved piano stool, a place where he finds solace to channel his emotions into music. Keeping a piano in both his London and Los Angeles residence, it is his safe place and creative outlet, anchoring him back home.
Lastly, he reveals the treasured possession he'd keep as his stack of LPs and CDs. A collection filled with the timeless artists, that have greatly inspired his own work throughout the years.

I loved listening to this interview. So interesting. Fun fact... "I knew Jeff when".... as we were in High School Band & Orchestra together in Fresno CA. (Go Hoover Patriots!).
