RIP Joe, such a talented bass player, brings John's amazing lines into the live dimension so well
Johns band mates all look so in their element in this song, especially by the end..so cool. The drummer is goin into a full nerd rage, keyboard guy looks like hes on acid flyinh thru space in his mimd, and the bass player especially stands out for how passionate he looks playing his instrument..I'm reading he died..which is sad af..
John Maus would be a lot of fun to just talk to..hope I get a chance to meet him one day!
Dudes a mastermind !
I love the synth line so BAD. It reminds me of Do I sad by Geneva Jacuzzi and that makes me so happy.
Justin Rios lol why?
Your pets are gonna shit themselves then die
The musicianship transcends the song's meaning
Ok but what is the song's meaning in your opinion?
messengerpdx it’s a well-deserved kick in the balls to everyone who has referred to their pets as their “fur babies”, but a simultaneous sincere call to action, a challenge to the modernist problem of finding a purpose that transcends pet worship. Your pets are not gods. They are going to die. That said, what is God? Where is God?
@@glof2553 "a well-deserved kick in the balls" ... ooh la la...damn, ur fckn hard ass... I don't believe in god, so yeah, pets are not god, my pets have died and you're not god, you're gonna die...bfd...What is your purpose that transcends your modernist self worship?
Wow you got so mad lmao. The truth hurts
Great performance! They sound like they’ve come straight from the 80s!
Amazing!
This has so many freaking levels. I like it the most in the sense that it's direceted at Lucifer, and it's us that are his "pets"; gives it a whole new meaning. Amazing piece
Source?
Lol such bullshit
Fantastic ! Remind me a french cold wave band named "Norma Loy" for the voice and "Joy Division" by some aspects !!
Closer album : Isolation (for the arp synth sound and the musical gimmick) and a bite of Decade (gritty bass synth)! Do not be so aggressive, or wash your car, it'll relax...You like it so much...!!!!
i can definitely hear some Devo aswell
love this live more than the original song
Rip 2 my turtle cat and betta fishes
Synthdude looks like a profesional gummybear. I respect.
My neighbor; "Haitians just moved in up the street."
Me;
Increíble
Someone gets me.
Lets hear it for the first Pets.
I'm so glad I didn't come across this song while I was high
"your pets are gonna die" I lold. Good song
reminds me of Isolation by Joy Division
Play this song for anyone who refers to their pets as their "children"
What about for those of us who refer to our pets as "pets"? I guess you have the meaning and the lyrics all figured out...fy
I mean you could they could've sung your children are gonna die and it would be just as true
