🤣🤣.. good ol CL 9000 .. the " Two Story Better Idea " ... Never failed to make me laugh when I would see one in the winter with the inset grab handles frozen over , and the driver make an " uncontrolled dismount" getting out of the cab .
I was 10 yrs old when I got a ride in one. I wanted to be a truck driver ever since. Became a electrician instead. To late to change career now that I'm 58.
@Alexander Ratisbona Sorry to have offended you but thats what everyone I know called them back then. I drove one very similar to the one in the video briefly and it wasn't bad, I just didn't like cabovers very much. Having said that, I liked the Freightliner cabovers better than the Ford, Pete, Kw or Internationals that I drove at one time or another.
the same drivetrain could be ordered in most any truck, a lot of old macks had only 5 speeds seems the only people who liked 5 speeds were truck owners who put rookie drivers in them
Those Ford cabovers was always my personal favorite. They always seem to sit up higher than the rest of em.
Nice truck !!!

Never too late. Especially now. There is a huge shortage and they are hiring
Believe me you are not missing anything you have a much better job
Much better off as an electrician
I really thought that was the first truck I ever owned! It is unbelievable how identical your cl9000 is to the one I had in 1991!
I learned to drive a tractor trailer on one of them lol
We called them the "Two Story Edsel" back in the eighties!

beautiful truck made in usa, greetings from south america
I want one but have no use for it. I would
Like to drive it around the city lol.
Look how tall the cab is.. nice truck.was that hopper was hooked up to it
Good very good
Sounds like a Cat engine. Nice truck.
Nice looking cab over. Can’t recall the last time I saw one on the road. They used to be everywhere.
Who disagrees about this.. the cab overs are much sexier than anything we have on the roads today.
What engine is in this truck?
I want! I need! Gimme gimme!
junk, worst truck i ever had to drive,no split shifting just a straight 5 speed!
the same drivetrain could be ordered in most any truck, a lot of old macks had only 5 speeds seems the only people who liked 5 speeds were truck owners who put rookie drivers in them
You could spec many different transmissions with them
The transmission has nothing to do with the truck. I had a 1980, it had a 13 speed and yes it had a split
@@murraygraham2385 if someone is complaining about a 5 speed it might have a lot to do with it,
It's not the truck, it's the driver.
