You know, I'm REALLY glad you mentioned Maribor. Most of the times (read: all the time) Slovenia is known by the capital Ljubljana and everything that's west from it. I'm proud my country gets to be recognized around the world, but Slovenia itself "forgets" and excludes the whole northeast part and it's a shame, because that part has so much to show and tell. Maribor was so important through history and it has so many stories to tell, yet it's been left out as unimportant and that makes me really sad. I'm really glad you visited this part of the country as well 😊❤🇸🇮

I'm an American, born in Maribor, raised ten years of my life in Bovec in the Soča Valley, and then lived my teenage years in Bled. I lived a few houses from the Dobra Vila, new of Hiša Franko before it was world famous, swim in Lake Bled a few times a week, and my dad was a guide for extreme sports such as canyoning, rafting, kayaking, and our family did other sports like rock climbing, skiing, trekking...I'm very thankful for the very beautiful compliments that you have given to my country and I hope you will make such a video like this again. For all of those who would like to visit Slovenia, please help the Slovenes and everyone around you to keep this naturally beautiful country the way it is. Respect the laws when in the National Forest and Parks and treat this country like it is your own home. Have a wonderful time in this wonderland!
Slovenia is my favorite country. I've been fortunate to have visited there 3 times, for a month and this last time for 5 months. It was so hard to leave. I love Ljubljana. I love the sLOVEnian people.

I‘ve recently been to Slovenia with the scouts and we hiked from Most na Soči to Trieste in Italy. We spend most of our trip close to the Soča and I really miss waking up next to this amazing river, swimming in it every morning and every evening, exploring the beautiful landscape that surrounds the Reka Soča, taking pictures of all the amazing bridges that look like photoshop became real and to ride the old, cute trains. Seeing this makes me so unbelievably happy. Slovenia is such an amazing country, we met so many kind people and the river Soča is my favorite in the world❤️

Celje may be smaller than ljubljana or maribor but it still has some things to see
We stop off in Slovenia frequently when we are in transit to Bosnia, it is the most beautiful and friendly country I have ever had the privilege to visit. It is Europes best kept secret and we plan to retire there. Think a smaller, affordable Switzerland and you will get the idea. As soon as travel restrictions are lifted, we will be on our way (again!)
Don't know if this was commented before but there is a joke/story about how Slovenian's got Slovenia. So God was dealing out the land and everyone got in line. Russian got Russia, American got America, German Germany and so on. But Slovenian guy was late. A whole day late so when he finally got to God and asked him for the land of his own, God replied that he already gave out all of the lands he had. But the Slovenian insisted that he needed land to call his own even if it's just a small piece. So God relents and asked Slovenian to come back the next day so he can check around if there is anything he can come up with. The next day Slovenian returns and asks again, but God apologizes because he didn't find anything. All the lands were already given out. Slovenian was crushed, but he still asked one more time for some land to call his own. God, impressed by the Slovenian's will, relents and tells the Slovenian that he can take Slovenia, which he originally reserved as a weekend escape for himself as it had everything on such a small piece of land. Mountains, flats, caves, rivers, sea, forests, etc. ;)

Lived next door in Croatia, lived in Austria, and been to Slovenia of course - I can tell you that the people, the landscape, the atmosphere, all of it is beyond amazing. One such spot is by the Cathedral on Sveta Gora. Below you is River Soca, to the South-West the Adriatic Sea, on your right is far away Venice, on the left Trieste. You turn toward north and you see the magnificent Julian Alps. And yes Holy Mary answers prayers requests. Try it.

Bled and Maribor are familiar names and words for me. Bled is village in Algerian Arabic and Maribor means lines in Kirundi so, I think there is a link between Slovenia and Algeria as well as Burundi.

You should saw Waterfall Savica and waterfall Boka. The mountain you should definitely hike it's called Slemenova Špica. I was there twice and everytime was more astounding view. You can basically see all of the Slovenia and over the boarders as well. Also Mali Golak has an astonishing view, you should check out Solkan's bridge that is also amazing architecture success. I am from Slovenia and I am proud of it. Also Triglav's lakes are also astonishing (I have them on my list to go and visit them). The bike road to Kranjska Gora is also amazing. We have a lot of places you should visit. I can say that much. Also the castle Otočec, and river Krka, like do not miss that. Or Kolpa's valley from where my family comes from. I mean, go and see for yourself. And something: you went to high-class restaurants, try the food from farms and small restaurants. It's amazing. It's simple farmer's food, but you will never eat anything like it. Simple foods are the best here, because we kinda respect food from farms and we are used to having gardens and all that. I believe, you missed quite some things about Slovenia, but I know they are not 'trendy' as much as Bled or anything similar

I live in Slovenia and I love it because it has beautiful mountains, landscapes, little sea. I could continue to interpret how beautiful she would need a lot of time so I decided to briefly describe Slovenia

Bled and Maribor are familiar names and words for me. Bled is village in Algerian Arabic and Maribor means lines in Kirundi so, I think there is a link between Slovenia and Algeria as well as Burundi.

I think peoples make a place beautiful and wonderful, Slovenia peoples are so nice, I live in Italy but I always go there for some shopping or take some walk but their peoples are so nice.

You should saw Waterfall Savica and waterfall Boka. The mountain you should definitely hike it's called Slemenova Špica. I was there twice and everytime was more astounding view. You can basically see all of the Slovenia and over the boarders as well. Also Mali Golak has an astonishing view, you should check out Solkan's bridge that is also amazing architecture success.
I am from Slovenia and I am proud of it. Also Triglav's lakes are also astonishing (I have them on my list to go and visit them). The bike road to Kranjska Gora is also amazing. We have a lot of places you should visit. I can say that much. Also the castle Otočec, and river Krka, like do not miss that. Or Kolpa's valley from where my family comes from. I mean, go and see for yourself.
And something: you went to high-class restaurants, try the food from farms and small restaurants. It's amazing. It's simple farmer's food, but you will never eat anything like it. Simple foods are the best here, because we kinda respect food from farms and we are used to having gardens and all that.
I believe, you missed quite some things about Slovenia, but I know they are not 'trendy' as much as Bled or anything similar
