One with Nothing: I am the worst card ever printed.
Obistai Grande: Hold my beer.
Playing out the +2 in my head on Lo-Kord, the Waterted Felide is hilarious:
"I plus two and I discard you"
"Ah, but I regenerate!"
"Ahahahaha! You cannot!"
Sprint bear makes a lot of sense he has haste since he was running from the bear and comes in tapped cause he fell down . He has shroud after the bear lands on him since spells would just hit the bear and not him.
Jeckyr doesn't even depend on your current life total. It's your STARTING life total. You could use it at one life and still one shot your opponent
Old man yell at cloul indeed
Chance-Rakari's "0: Deals 3 damage to you" doesn't work like Nikachu thought. A couple people in chat caught it, but he missed it. The "you" refers to the controller of the ability, which is whoever activates it.
AI vs AI scrabble has been done. They played tiles on top of other tiles, played way outside the board, and at some point one of them said "ChatGPT has no moves left, so I win".
😂 amazing
1:44:48 The 10 Colorless Spirits, including Changelings include: Bloodline Pretender, Dancing Scimitar, Faceless Agent, Horrible Hordes, Morophon the Boundless, Omarthis, Ghostfire Initiate, Scion of Ugin, Sorcerer's Broom, Ugin's Conjurant, & Universal Automaton.
There's potential! Especially if it can help pay big costs with X or double X mana in them....
My interpretation for the Phyrexian Blitzering is that that the magic cyborgs did a blitzkrieg and got all their damage in at step 1, when the human army didn't even show up until step 2
32:10 Sprint Bear got a headstart in the race but tripped on it's shoelaces.
Sadly, I was unable to attend this live.
I wish I could see you do AI Generated cards videos like this more often.
Anyway, thanks for uploading! Might comment more later!
I can't go to the well too often or it will run dry :P Once every 2 weeks seems to be good.
@@NikachuMTGLive Fair enough. Thanks, see you later!
Hey Nikachu just wanted to say these AI card reviews are probably my favorite content on TH-cam right now. I love the SNES-era soundtrack, the usually-goofy but sometimes-cool cards you look at, and how you mostly interpret them from a rules-accurate perspective. It all comes together to produce an extremely fun and watchable video every time and it always brightens my day. So thank you again, keep being awesome dude
That dog definitely “completed a dragon”
49:03 Churic Twister is that ex-girlfriend you and your friends just use as an adjective: “that’s so Churic Twister!”
Konza enters the battlefield, exiles all the creatures, refuses to elaborate further and fases out
Peace
“Discard one of your opponents”
“Okay”
*pulls out knife*
“To the graveyard with you.....”
Have Bazaar Trader freed from summoning sickness, Emrakul, and Quicksilver Amulet. During your opponent's turn you're in control of, use Quicksilver Amulet to bring out Chance-Rakari Dragon and use Bazaar Trader to donate it to your opponent. GG.
Chance-Rakari Dragon can only deal damage to whoever activates the ability; "you" refers to the controller of the ability.
Balduvan Mystic is still REALLY strong. If you give it lifelink and ever have 2 more life than your opponent, you win. But even if not, it's still probably worth 6+ points of burn to close a game.
I'm, uh, not a Magic Player... but my own reading of Moria Vanguard seems like you choose a number, then every player returns that number from their graveyard to their hand? Not sure how accurate that is, though.
1:17:53 Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider and doubling season make it so Kahoira comes in with 24 counters making it possible to deal 60 damage to each opponent in 3 turns. And 24 loyalty keeps it safe from death most of the time
1:00:23 A generous interpretation of the flavour text makes it sound like Thrill Fist is an evil artifact in a story.
As her height, a cause to fight again. = Just like the 8 people she knew, [something] gives her a cause to fight again.
There are festive then that does not spent older yea fled, but inn shut a fall. = There's festivities that don't exhaust you, one who ran away, but the inn will prevent a fall? (Fall from grace.)
The cube of midst all yearn and the place will fall in = Everyone yearns for (wants) the cube of things happening during stuff, & the place (the story's setting?) will "fall in", interpretable as falling from grace or "collapsing in on itself", ruin to the land, etc.
TL;DR - My interpretation is there's a female character who's got new cause to fight again, but she needs to loosen up but also mind the safety of the inn, & also this cube is an evilly desirable artifact (Like The One Ring) that will bring a downfall. Presumably she needs to stop it.
14:25 how else am i supposed to get my blue eyes white into play? Or charizard?
2:00 "Youre funny person, Ill discard you last."
Cumitive upkeep: draw a card, pay one mana would be so good on a card. Its a good card draw engine at first but the longer you keep it the worse and worse it ruins you, especially if somebody blows up your spellbook/reliquary tower
How does it hurt you?
@@bestaround3323 with cumulative upkeep you pay more and more every turn, so after 4 turns, you pay 4 and draw 4, etc
@@bestaround3323 Because unless you have stuff like omniscience in play or already have an infinite mana combo going, the amount of spells you can play in a turn is limited.
If you draw more and more cards each round, you will eventually no longer have enough mana to play the majority of spells you draw, reducing their relative power. And if you actually have to pay mana as part of the upkeep cost, then you will eventually pay the majority of all your mana per round just on the upkeep cost, which gives you only more cards in return (which you dont need, since you already have dozens of cards.)
Or in short, having 8 cards in hand and 8 mana to play them is more useful than having 16 cards in hand, but zero mana to play them.
@@random.3665 You can just, not pay the upkeep after you have enough cards. It really isn't a downside. It also enables you to just run a whole bunch of low-cost spells. In a well-constructed deck having too many cards in hand really shouldn't be a problem.
the haste of Traitor's Sprint Bear is nearly useless but it can block Gingerbrute
There are monored merfolks, for example Fissure Fluxmage
4:50 Philosophical question, if this is a land that taps for {0}, is that a mana ability?
"Whenever a creature with power 2 or less, destroy it."
I interpret that to mean whenever the creature does anything. Attacks, blocks, taps, enters the battlefield. As long as it just exists on the battlefield, it won't be destroyed.
Land is also named Land. I'm not sure if that means it can interact with card effects that refer to Land, but if so, it's gonna be so easy to combo with.
27:25 if a card would enter a players hand/graveyard or library and they dont it enters the respective zone of its owner instead e.g if you bounce a creature to your hand you don't own it goes to the creatures owners hand instead so this card would let the opponent search their deck reveal the cards give them to you and they go to the opponents hand instead of yours
Magic has 27,000 different cards and only 6 are colorless spirits. Thats oddly specific
For the oath, tom bombadil makes you only have to pay 4 it once
I guess completing a dragon would be similar to meld mechanic, where you have multiple parts of a dragon that melt with each other's.
From minute one, we are entering a world where Tezzeret's fursona is a card.
3:00 Meld Misha with the Dragon Engine, to make this nonsense mana dork into a burn piece.
5:30 If a land has a mana symbol there, that's what it taps for. Therefore, you can tap this land for 0 colorless snow mana. Maybe enchant it to produce additional mana, and that mana becomes snow? Still worse than a land that works out of the box.
Conqueror's Vision: My first thought was, that a Brush Taunter loves it. He uses its ability to fight another creature, pings himself for an additional 1 and then gets to deal 3 extra damage. So he can technically kill creatures with toughness 4 or less with that extra 3 damage.
1:09:50 Needs to be reworked as "Each player searches their graveyard for up to X cards and adds them to their hand." X should be in the casting cost.
57:08 I like Awn Swanna, because it really wouldn’t be great as a Commander, because the Rebound only works if casting from HAND.
40:14 Unplayable but I like the design space. I want a cantrip with "counter target spell that targets one of your spells". Counterspell hate!
Thought Attentions should be called "Jack (Shit) Frost'! Also, if WotC made this card, it would etb tapped.
I'm actually really surprised the ai figured out a way to put rebound on a creature and have it do something meaningful that makes sense.
I still don't get how AI has no concept of color pie, you'd think that would be the easy part.
Nika: I AM the danger. I am the one who knocks
Just checked Gatherer, there are no creature spells that target a player when cast.
8:00 This card is OP with Stuffy Doll. Ping the targeted player with it's own ability plus pinging again with the vision tap trigger plus the three with the "any target" trigger. Since the doll is indestructible, it can be done to itself over and over and over.
38:34 (Criminar's Fallen) There are several dozen creature spells with on-cast abilities, but only 5 have on-cast abilities that can target players... & all of those 5 are Eldrazi: Abundant Maw, Bearer of Silence, Distended Mindbender, Emrakul, the Promised End, & Oblivion Sower.
Very efficient Eldrazi counter card, lol.
But it's an ability that targets the player not the creature itself so you can't cast it even if you get round the timing restriction
@@Breviparopus What do you mean? Criminar's Fallen says "Counter target creature spell that targets you", Abundant Maw says "When you cast this spell, target opponent loses 3 life and you gain 3 life.". Shouldn't CF be able to counter Abundant Maw?
@sagacious03 when you cast abundant maw an ability goes on the stack to make the player loose life. The ability targets the player not the creature
@@Breviparopus I see. Tragic that it works that way. At least for Criminar's Fallen, lol. Thanks for sharing your knowledge & interest on the subject!
The giant that punched himself looks like he Villan from Jackie Chan adventures who announced his moves . “Monkey Jumps for dumplings “
Obistai Grande would be a great card to imprint onto the new Ugin's Labyrinth card
Balduvian Mystic would be nice in fast Legacy aggro decks. Pay 16 life to deal 8 dmg to finish the opponent off.
Turn 1 Dark Ritual, Balduvian Mystic, pay 18, Death’s Shadow. 20 damage on turn 2.
So to use that -8 ability, you need to discard 3 opponents...
Conquerors vision on unruly catapult would be pretty busted.
43:40 *cough* Narset *cough*
I really like Oath of Enested - Academy Rector. Granted, you may as well get Omniscience.
Conquerer's Vision would go great with Stuffy Doll. Especially if you have a damage doubler enchant on the field (like Furnace of Rath). Without a doubler, that's 5 damage per turn to an opponent. With a doubler, you tap Stuffy doll, it deals 1 damage to itself, then 1 damage to itself, then you target it with the 3 damage...collectively (because of how redirection works with damage doublers), it deals 4 to an opponent (with it's own effect), then another 4 (with the first part of Conquerer's Vision), then 12 (with the second). That's 20 damage.
Beld-to can reduce the cost of Ugin's Conjurant and Sorcerer's Broom since both are colorless spirits.
Y’know, if instead of saying Konza “phases out”, what if there was a keyword creatures could have where you can choose to tap them without attacking but in return the tapped creature can’t be targeted until your next turn. That could be interesting
Thought Attentions generates Snowthing.
1:35:35 lol tutors a artefact in river song in theory
Oath of Encested plus Narci, Fable Singer
14:02 ones you didn’t even have the right mana for. UGH, land maintenance is sooo annoying this time of year 😭💫
I seen a video posted april first about turning yourself into a card, i wonder what would happen if an opponent card were discarded...
Also i think one of your opponents meant their card
Thought attention, you can tap it but there it does not give mana, you can also pay nothing, but it still does nothing
Chance-Rakari Dragon deals damage to whoever activates the ability, not the owner
36:30 It’s “Arianna Grande” 😂
nicol bolas's time magic was so powerful he could change which timeline he was in. he was so powerful he considered tefiris time magic an insult also he has: Super strength, speed, durability, and stamina, flight, enhanced senses, precognition, telepathy, memory alteration, mind reading, mind control, can shatter minds with a slightest contact of his body, illusion creation, planeswalking (teleportation/dimensional travel), time manipulation, clockworking (ability which let's him to choose a desired timeline in the future and access it), soul manipulation, reality warping, immortality (Types 1, 3, 4 and 6), regeneration (mid-godly), non-corporeal, magic and regen negation, avatar creation, can absorb mana even from a few universes at once, can anchor his existence to a certain location and passively drain mana from there, necromancy, acid rains capable of erasing someone from existence, possession, resurrection of himself and others, elemental manipulation (water, fire and lightning), instant death spells, shapeshifting (his form is limited only by his imagination), duplication, dmensional manipulation. Has mastery over Red, Blue and Black colors of mana.
Reanimate Oath of Enested with a card like Replenish.
22:44 I guess anything that affects only nonland permanents wouldn't work on Land.
Stick Conqueror's Vision on a Stuffy Doll and just have it punch your opponent in the face by punching itself in the face which also punches your opponent in the face.
Is Wrath of Souls the only Wall without Defender? 😂
I know nothing about mtg... what is zibers and what is dangers?
Most Magic players don't know either. But these terms were created by the AI. It Dangers = Broken. Zibers = Cool, unique thought provoking card, or however you want to describe a card that speaks to you.
@@NikachuMTGLive Ahh that makes sense! Thanks for the response! I don't play mtg, but I'm a sucker for AI generated nonsense. Especially when it tries, and fails, to follow game rules.
Yes it does go infinite with lifelink -2+3 is positive!!!
Tbf not everyone plays commander. mtg did start as a 1v1 game
I always hate when nikachu doesn't read the cards right. It happens multiple times a video and it annoys me. Ive come close to stopping watching him for it.
You must be a joy to play against.
That's one of my favorite things actually. Lol
It's part of the fun to see Nikachu missread the card
It's the primary reason I never subscribed. His job is literally to read card abilities, given the hours he's spent doing it, you'd think he'd improve over time.
It does bug me too, but to his credit, 90% of the time he corrects himself after re reading the card, or his chat corrects him and when he gets surprised when he realized he read it wrong is still satisfying 😂.

1:42:16 What do you mean "ship it"? That card completely breaks the game. You can exile a card and any player can activate that card as long as it remains exiled. This means that everyone can forever continue casting that one spell since it will always remain exiled. What if it is a spell that damages a player? The game is over at that point. Even if you destroy the planeswalker, the effect would remain in place, right?
As you cast the spell, it resolves to the graveyard, no?
@@oz_jones Oh, nevermind then. I somehow thought that it would just stay in exile since putting it into the graveyard would in most cases be an upgrade instead of a punishment.

So you made fake cards to do reviews on them?
