Expenditures that are 40% more than revenue are not “40 times more”.

Wow so Kenya now has become more of "hand to mouth' economy! It's time the president and S.R.C look at the lucrative salaries of the politicians, and public demand accountability because it's been over a decade now and yet most COUNTIES have nothing to show instead we are making millionaires from county officials for nothing! We're spending more than we can make! We also need to see those corrupt leaders who are milking this country dry at Kamiti....I can't believe my country❤is sinking 😢

Solution to clear the debt is reduced salaries and be strictly safeguarding public resources

Hii deni ya kampuni italipana kweli? Last financial year (2021/2022) KRA Collection was KES 2.031 Trillion which was historical by the way. This is the real source of government money. The rest (IMF, Worldbank, Eurobond, Treasury bills etc) are baggage pain killers. Let's not lie to ourselves. This year's collection might not be far from 2T against a matured 2023 debt of 2T. On top of this, we have to pay for counties, deal with bandits, corruption, emergencies, maandamano, tear gas etc. We might reach a point where we will consider a fundraiser to save our country.

Using the Laffer curve..the tax burden to the mwanachi is overwhelming to a taxpayers hence tax evasion and tax avoidance...the tax discouraged citizens to work
.government does not have proper knowledge of fiscal and monetary policies to cushion the inflation, create unemployment....Philip's curve is at tipping point

😂😂😂😂. We all do... They keep trying to make us forget that they were the same people in power between 2013-2022 and they were the people who took the debt, even if they give us excuses of being sidelined. If you see a sinking ship and you jump in to be the captain, you just have to go down with it . They ate the money...let them pay for it! Karma... Kenya hatuhami 😂😂😂.

    Good day! Citizen TV
    Great sharing by Ms. Yvonne.
She however stated that- " Kenya has never defaulted on any of her loans. Not yet! "
How then do you explain this report/statement by World news?
    👇🏾
"312 billion ($ 10.8 million) in the year ended June for loan defaults. Kenya defaulted on repayment of the Chinese loans taken to build the standard gauge railway (SGR). 22 Oct 2022"

We need to find solutions to this and work towards achieving the economic independence. If it means lowering the public servant salaries can as well work towards ensuring financial strain

How can KRA meet a target on an aspect that is dependent on economic performance yet business and people who pay that 'aspect' are suffering and closing? Where will the tax come from??? Even if you overcharge those already paying and net every other person with a PIN what will you do if they lack the capacity to pay? Jail them?
Meanwhile a bloated government that is a cost centre and not a revenue generator only makes the issue worse. And let's not discuss debts and oil that are handled using dollars!
What exactly are we even discussing when we have CAS appointments that have been challenged and further budgets that include cars and all other luxury items? Don't forget the government have now so called economic advisers complete with car budget and office furniture allocations. In the era of remote working, an advisor cannot offer services from the comfort of his house??????
You continue doing the math, Gold Mafia limited edition loading.....

Everyday our currency is devaluating. Means more printing of money. Plus big debts, all this big money going to pay government officials over 300k per low ranking govt. Officials plus bonuses. 50% of our GDP is used to pay civil service.
    Means more printing
    Importing almost everything

Let's quit this economic system by making it irrelevant. How? Glad you asked; by returning to our indigenous way of life; to live in our own land, build homesteads and grow our own food, educate our children and dance the day away💯🎯🥰
