Remember that you can defend with most cards, it's just that defense reactions can only be played during the reaction step of an attack. Defense reactions cannot be used during the defense step :)

Looks promising! I'd like a closer look at those foils. I just hope it doesn't end up like Keyforge did in my area. That sank like a lead balloon! It must be played somewhere because they keep releasing expansions🤷♂️
Ive only seen the rules and went over some of the cards, and just at first glance this game seems something special. Can't wait to get my hands on some product and try to grow it at my LGS.
I watched gameplay for this game a month or so ago and it is deceivingly simple-looking but there is a whole lot more depth to it than meets the eye -- which I love in games. I'm gonna give it a try myself the next opportunity I get.
Ok Rudy i did it. Bought my first box. Was 21 packs in and had only pulled 1 Mythic (Crippling Crush) and was getting kinda sad, then BAM i pulled a Fyendal's Spring Tunic! And another Crippling Crush the pack after. Thanks for honing me in on this game. The art is great and the concept is fresh.

I mean I don’t work for the company but I definitely try to get all my friends to play whenever they scrub out of Pokémon and magic lol. But I’m down to teach anyone if it helps grow the game.
One of the most underated things in my mind for a new card game is their ability to stock the shelves at target and walmart. I dont care what anyone tells you that nostalgia feeling that you develop as a young kid buying packs of cards from the little section by the checkout area is what drives the whole tcg market.
That’s some real shit. I remember vividly going into Target and looking at all the Yu Gi Oh cards then asking my dad to buy me a couple backs. Even now before I got back into collecting I would walk past that area and my eyes would still light up.

I quit card games when Jace the Mindsculpter runed standard for me. Tried this game out last weekend for shits and giggles. Was alot of fun! Picked up a starter deck to start it up

I've played almost every tcg you can think of, I like challenging myself and making a profit from my hobbies. NOTHING comes close to the challenge, dynamic game system, challenges or variation that fab has. Its crazy how such a small game can be this consistently good! The cards are holding value, key cards are highly desirable and only going up! The company really cares about the competitive scene too, they've already given away $50,000 cash in tournament prizes!! 30 odd people at a tournament in the States, gave away 10k in prizes anyway!!
I sadly sold my jyhad cards recently. I cant even get people to play magic, board games or role playing games in my area. Wish i could find my doomtrooper and legend of the five rings cards.
I'm glad that you mention Universal Fighting System, as they rebranded their game as Universus and have their My Hero Acadaima set coming out in February of 2021
The resource system where you pitch cards to generate currency to use on other cards reminds me a lot of the Naruto CCG where you had to put cards from your hand into your "Chakra Area" and then you're able to use them to pay for Jutsu cards that had cost requirements like "discard two wind cards from your chakra area" and so on. Like Flesh and Blood; once you put a card into your Chakra Area you lose out on being able to play that card since it goes into the discard pile after using it to cast a Jutsu card.

You can tell Rudy is very involved and cares about F&B I’ve never played looks good though!! The artwork is great I love the gore and how it has a more mature focus I dig it !!

Your hand could have played 3 or more for the flying kick. If you used head jab(go again), weapon attack(go again) then use flying kick. Damage would be 1+2+7
This definitely looks interesting! It reminds me of another game my cousin has. I can't remember the name of it. But this one is definitely more thought out than the other one we've played. My husband is definitely going to like this one.
Honestly the hero cards function almost identically to UFS which you said right after I put this lol Also UFS is still around and a huge amount of fun to play.
I find it funny how many people ridicule mana screw/flood etc, but have never even TRIED Netrunner, Garfield's sequel to, that fixes all the problems of, MtG. The way you describe how to obtain more resources in Flesh and Blood reminds me of how ONE of the SEVEN major factions in Netrunner works. And ALL the factions have the ability to obtain more resources at any time.
This game looks fun. To me, the art is missing the "magic" of old school magic. Nothing really got the imagination churning like old magic art, and I think that's a huge part of the games success.

Ok so far... In Warcraft TCG you can place your card as your "once a turn" resource, Warhammer TCG allows you to play only two actions per turn unless UNO, Epic PVP Fantasy/Magic allows you to use your cards how ever you want (either resource, life points or attack/defense)... UFS allows you to combo cards one after another... Warcraft TCG also allowed you to equip weapons or armor similar to Heathstone... FOW and Argent Saga and UFS have their separate persona like a Magic Commander with special abilities... I believe that Flesh and Blood offer a nice combination of mechanics that would be interesting to play in a as a very Adventure/PVP themed TCG, with constant looting

if anything is gonna become a big player in tcg it needs to have the digital component ready to go like arena/hearthstone and then use that as the means to get players interested in paper. its only gonna get harder and harder to get attention relying on being discovered at someones LGS - younger people are only getting less interested in face to face interactions
Gary Lynch then theyll die like everything else - digital is the way to actually generate interest in paper, arena will bring more players into mtg paper over time and prevent it from falling off the cliff with age demo shifting
I'm wondering. The cards look hella like Magic cards at a glance, with similar style and quality (both layout and artwork). And this is weird because that's why it instantly got my attention - not because it looked unique, but it looked so similar (and I honestly thought it's a new Magic set when I first saw it on YT). But... I'm sure if some company made a TCG looking very similarly to Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG it also would get my attention, simply because all of those big games are already unique and great in their own right. To see someone try and "copy" to the extent of even "copying" the layout and artstyle is already intruiging.

The game is 1vs1 duel. So now monsters or minions. But there are multiplayer rules as well.

They dont want the game to be digital. The idea is to get people back to being in person and not just staring at a screen

Angus Dahms you start with your weapons and armor on the board and they never go in the deck so no not really haha
