He will stay in Congress and have a committee chair position and work with Trump closely getting things done in the House for America. That is absolutely important too!
I'm a 60 yr. old white women and Byron Donalds was my choice for Vice President also. When confronted with hard questions or twisted narratives, he doesn't do the political word dance...he spews facts. And he does it with composure, confidence and ease. He has a great future ahead of him.

I’m almost 49 and have been voting conservative the majority of my life. I’m extremely excited about our next generation of leaders like this young man. Strong principled young men and women learning the value of good policies are absolutely necessary for our country to thrive. I look at Byron and my former home state Senator Tim Scott and I smile with pride that America is in good hands with folks willing to step up into service to the country.
As a white man I can’t tell you enough how encouraged I am with what is going on. I feel like this is it, it is finally happening! All races are waking up and we are coming together as one! We are no longer sub divisions but just…. Americans! This is just the beginning and there is work to be done but it’s happening!

I think there’s something that people aren’t considering. Vacating a seat may put the balance in the house or senate in risk of being taken by a democrat. Not only do we need TRUMP in the White House, but we need to keep our slim majority.

Florida is pretty safe. And so is Ohio, but the senate balance is more precarious. Vance should've held the senate seat and Donalds could've been VP. But Trump would have to change his residence and I don't know what legal (phony court cases) would've been affected by that.

Article II, paragraph 3 states that "The electors ... shall vote for two persons, of whom one at least shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves." It’s a bit of unclear, but what it prohibits is an elector from casting both of his or her votes for candidates from the same state in which the elector lives.
I'm jealous of FL for having the best politicians in the country. Top Governor DeSantis, Top Rep Donalds, Top Mayor Suarez and 2 of the top senators in Rubio and Scott. The only other state that comes close is TX with Abbott, Cruz and Reps Roy and Jackson. PA has the worst. They simply don't take a leadership role in anything at all and just vote with Biden 100%

I was really hoping for Byron Donalds to be VP. I think he's extremely intelligent and capable. I really hope Trump appoints him to a position in the cabinet where he'll be most useful and helpful.
