      Keef Croc "They" as in the ones who run the education system and set the curriculums. Parents are somehow to supposed to self-teach themselves on finances so they can pass it on to their kids? What if the parent themself is too incompetent and will misteach their kid? It's not like teaching how to ride a bike. Finances should be formally taught in school because it's something EVERYBODY has to deal with in their adult life, regardless of their career

    Good morning black brothers and sisters, hope y'all fighting the good fight and making moves today, no matter how small it is, any progress is wonderful. Always remember this proverb "the nail that sticks will get hammered". We must sometimes learn to sit down, be humble and stay out of site in order to make the monumental moves we want to make. It's wise to just listen more, talk less and quit the arrogance, it gets us no where. I love y'all, be proud, be wise and be humble, take care ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 #blackways

We can't drop kids off to school and carry on like, "THAT'S IT". If you don't CONTINUE to learn so you can TEACH, we will FOREVER be in a bad cycle.

    What I’ve learned from a credit doctor, for free, they basically call the 3 credit bureaus & literally dispute it as fraud etc but said they don’t have to give them a reason why, they basically tell them to remove it. Once the dispute is put in place, it takes 30-45 days. Sometimes the first dispute makes it disappear, the credit doctor also told me that sometimes it takes 3-4 disputes (3-4 months essentially) & by that time they just take it off. SO, that being said, I disputed the 2 derogatory marks on my credit through credit karma, Experian app (credit karma only shows the first two bureaus & experian is a whole other app with the third bureau) & I’ve had had them disappear, with my credit improving drastically. Take note that companies don’t care what your credit karma credit score is, they care about your FICO score which if you bank with Wells Fargo you can see your monthly updated FICO score for free but there are other ways to see your FICO. Experian app also shows your FICO. Just what I learned & what has worked for me 🙂 I personally wouldn’t pay someone to do what I can do, which is what I do. Free game!

    When I first got my credit card I used it way more than I paid on it & my credit score was shitty. So I decided to have one small bill come from it every month (my Netflix bill) & cut the card up but keep it open. Then I started paying $10 on it every week & a few months later my credit score shot up to 710. Another thing... as far as hospital bills you can write a financial hardship letter asking the hospital to pretty much erase what you owe them because you are struggling financially. It doesn't always work, but it worked for me when I got into a bad car accident. I owed $22,000 & my insurance paid $16,000 so I owed $6000. I filled out a financial assistance form from the hospital & it knocked it down to $700 THEN I wrote them a financial hardship letter & to my surprise they completely ERASED THE $700 I OWED!!!

      Jeanne Kelly can child support come off your credit report?

    • @CreditJeanne
      @CreditJeanne 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends....are you current now? If it is current, call the department your account is within child support and ask them since the account is now current can this be updated as a current account or removed from my report. Good Luck. ***I would first have a copy of the credit reports before calling so you can see exactly how it is reported.

      Credit Karma is Great~! The score they use is not the FICO score, but it still does help you see if the score goes up or down and a good way to stay focused on it.

    Very informative!

  • @quinten4214
    @quinten4214 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    The FICO score is the most common score, and 35% goes to Payment history and 30% goes to utilization. So if you pay on time and use only 30% (utilization) you will be good. If you want to boost your points, pay your credit card before the statement date, it will boost your score by a lot of points and it will last for 30 days, the only draw back is you have to keep it up because if you don’t you will lose the points.

I just learnt how to build my credit at 24 by learning the hard way I paid all of my debt my credit went up at least 300 points and now I’m almost at 700 paying bills on time and using 30 percent of your credit cards helps a lot

    • @shawn5mobile
      @shawn5mobile 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@insomthegreat I'm coming from the stand point of using your card for an emergency (car repair) or even renting a car( you need a curtain amount of available credit) . 7% of $4000 is 280, 30% is $1200, that is a big difference. I don't want over $5000 in credit card debt in any given time , so I would need over $70000 in credit to stay under 7%. I will get there but it will take time.
