I have the Galaxy S9 plus and want to use an external mic for podcasting. I am interested in knowing if I am better off using irig mic studio (USB) or the irig mic studio XLR with irig pre or pro. Not certain which solution offers the best sound quality.

Lighting port So it will be same with the new one mic Hd 2 .have u tried before? notice : I'm using iPhone 6s. Can u please help me to get the real answer? Im looking for last irig mic i don't want to buy old one .
There might be issues running a usb type mic with Smule. Based on experience from our customer base, its the mic with the 3.5mm jack that works well with Smule, such as the iRig Mic and iRig Voice
