I'm glad I bought my new MBP with nano texture glass. It is incredible, especially for programming
I absolutely love it! Been using it for two weeks and it's near perfect.
It's typical for people to complain but those people are not using it day to day.
from using Glossy MacBooks for the past 15 years, I personally wouldn't go back to NON nano texture
Is it easier to clean than the glossy display? Maintaining a clean glossy display is a nightmare
I guess it will eventually have polished spots
At first, after seeing all videos, I thought I don’t like it, it seems to reduce clarity and the brightness. After seeing it in person, I regret not upgrade that option😢
Still to much grainy. I can put matte filter anytime as option. But for reading text is downside for me.
I sat for hours in front of them at the Apple Store and I came to the conclusion that the text was just too soft and blurry for me on the nano texture
I’m so torn as a photographer not sure whether to go for the nano texture or not 🤔
I’m a photographer as well. Get the nano-texture. What sold me on the nano-texture was a comment on TH-cam: the person said all computer monitors are basically nanotexture so if you use a regular pc then it won’t be much of a difference. I got the nano-texture…no issues at all. When I use my iPad I can’t stand it now because it’s so reflective both indoors and outdoors. I haven’t found myself regretting the nano-texture at all, I completely forget I have it.
I installed a matte screen protector on my phone at the beginning i felt the clarity shift little but after a week of use its barely visible
Nano texture is WAYYY better than matte screan protectors lol
Great video!
My M4 14 inch has nano textured glass and it feels so premium and powerful and the Mac has good software and I chose it over the iPad for that reason
Feels premium 😂😂😂😂😂
link to the cyan and pink wallpaper?
where did you download your wallpaper?
Yooo where can i get that wall paper ?
But does it reduce viewing angle because if you tilt it it seem like it washout
Yes it does
Yes
Wonder how it looks compared to the old pre-unibody Macbook Pros... I've still got my early 2008 Macbook Pro with the matte display
Would you recommend the Nano-texture option if you aren’t going to be doing any contrast/ color-grading work? IE. photo and video editing ?
Im not getting it, im a graphic designer, and graphics enthusiast. I like those pixel.
I need it crisp, slight blur is not my vibe id rather have sharper graphics, specially working with logos
@@kriss12loverapto me it looks sharper and more realistic than the glossy
@@BeeRoyLee guess ill have to see it in real life. Thing is i want it as fast as possible i dont Even think they got the nano version in stores around (Norway) not in (Oslo) a couple hours off.
I would of thought this is best on lower laptops browsing word processing spreadsheets etc
@@insoft_uk yessir i agree. For your avreage typical nanotech is a upgrade, but in not no average typical.
Who takes out their macbook after getting it 💀 ive been using my m3 pro since the past 4 months and still i havent taken it out. Even once
Doesn't have to be outside. Maybe if you have a window behind you and the sun is shining in the screen or a light source is on top of you and it is shining on the screen as well.
I saw both displays in the apple store. And side by side the nano textured was pure garbage for Black text on white background. It's too grainy and see like rainbow dots everywhere and not sharp display.
One of the reasons they got rid of the extra processing in adding a matte finish to screens all them years ago was to give it extra brightness by leaving the natural gloss finish intact and they actually changed extra for it a process they left out to reduce cost and improve the screen brightness now adding it back for an extra cost sounds a little silly.
Tho adding a special cloth makes one think will it over time get a glossy look as matte screens did due to frequent cleaning and I’m not out doors and never notice any light reflections so not for me tho I can see it’s usefulness for some, tho photoshop and image related work I think it’s more of a negative
thats what i seem to feel
Which models have quantum dot displays
I think all m4 MacBook pros have it
It is not a scratch protection...if you have a plan to use a scratch protection film over it, do not order it with nano texture glass option.
Nice
Do you need graphic designer for thambnil editing
If and when I purchase a MacBook Pro, I’m getting the nano texture display. It’s a “book,” what’s a book that can’t be read outside?
U can still read it outside, its twice the brightness of the previous generation, and the glossy screen has better colors and sharper graphics.
@@kriss12loverapthis is not true. You should try it first before making recommendations to others. There is a reason all these content creators and creatives are raving about nano.
Well, now I don’t know what to think😭😭I feel like y’all both right, but I’m really just trying to decrease glare from my window (it’s behind me when I’m at my desk)
@@BeeRoyLee well i havent seen it in real life, But if i can trust what the person in the video says, im litterally stating things mentioned in the video.
@@xavierjohnson9089 take the other guys Word, But look at it in real life.
The dude in the video litterally said that its slight blurred.
I know im the type of person to Get Stoned and look at the details. It might be slight ocd. But its unsettling to me to have a sligthly blurred display, id rather have glare.
But maybe my opinion change if i see it face to face.
The nano texture makes the screen washed out
So I like it . And can barely notice color difference . I’m worried about the nano texture getting something between the screen
This is already available in Dell XPS as an option for long time. What is new in this?
buy yourself a matte screen protector and you save lot of money
and the cloth costs 20$ per wipe? 15 years ago I had a matte monitor and I could clean it with regular floor cleaner. And it was running at 120hz.
is text readable?
No, it's far more worse than regular mate screens. It's like a cheap mate screen protector but with better handling reflections. I would not buy it, though I compared ProDisplays and M4 iPad Pros with Nano texture and without it.
It’s slightly soft and hurt my eyes
In Amazon there are plenty options for a layer like this for a 50 or 80 dollars and it’s removable so we can use it outside. It’s worthless
It's absolutely rip-off
It would cost just $20 for overpriced fruit s**
