Such a lovely and quick tutorial, I love your mega long tutorials for these huge ornate pieces, but something about these small pieces just always gets me
Always amuses me when I see one of your videos like this compared to the live streams. Your voice is so soft and sweet here. I'm a big fan either way, so I like both versions of Von, but it's a definite contrast.
You are so subdued in this video. I'm used to you being bubbly. Not in a bad way...just like "wow, Yvonne, you sound so serious." Lol. I saw a saying recently "Buying for hobbies and doing hobbies are two separate hobbies." That is so me - so I'm not buying flat or square wire until I finish something, even one thing, I have started. Thanks as usual. Easy to follow. Just no bubble! 💜
Thank you so much for doing these videos! I started following you a couple of weeks ago and I am hooked! I made my first set of crazy simple earrings the other day. Ninjaed my hubbies pliers and cutters to do it. Ssshhhhh, don't tell him! lol
Just wanted to let you know (incase you don't get notifications when you get a patreon supporter) I joined to support you for 5 a month. I love love love watching you, and hope to catch you live someday. You're a beautiful person inside and out. Always seem to have a positive attitude towards life. Oh, sing a little louder so we can hear what you're singing (great voice!) Much love, Sarah
I always use a small dap of the loctite super glue gel on the bead caps to secure it to the bead before doing my wire wrapping so it doesn’t shift or move. Just make sure you don’t use to much of it. You just need enough to secure let it dry for a minute and then proceed.
I love this idea for a simple but pretty pendant and may try it on several bead shapes! Thanks for a quick filler item for my shows (if I ever get enough stock together for a show LOL).
Dominique Wartelle: I wonder if it feels overwhelming still for Von that she is reaching across the world. Maybe she's adjusted or maybe I just reminded her in a scary way. Hope not.
Hey, Raven! If I sell them as just a pendant I also offer chains for $5 (hypoallergenic materials, won't turn your neck green) but for these pendants I ended up stringing them into necklaces with more gemstone beads :)
Hi Yvonne, really like your tutorials. I have tried to find the larger spools of the Para Wire that I see in your vides and can't seem to find it. Could you please send me the link for the supplier yo use? I did go to the site you have posted but could only find the standard small spools and if in bulk they still came in the smaller spools. Thank You, Carole
New subbie here!! Been watching u 4 a while and I like ur approach to teaching, explaining and ur demeanor. I'm consider myself a beginner jewelry maker, usually head/eyelids and beads. Recently I added tassels into the mix. Now I'm interested in wire wrapping. I made a 3 bead simple ring, pendant. Thanks for sharing all ur knowledge with us. Where do u get ur surgical steel ear wires from? And what wire will not turn ears, fingers etc green if using copper
Anyone else notice her chuckle at her homemade tool handle? Or am I wrong? Certainly looked like a clay handle to me.. lol. I need to try this idea.. one of my tool handles are RUINED. But tool works. ;)
lol, if you can't laugh at yourself then what can you laugh at? :p The handle is a molded thermoplastic (teraflex from TandyLeather) and it made decent pliers with crappy handles into my favorite :)
I love how every single one of your tutorials are so detailed. Your so thuroh and I just love it. Thank you
Just what I was looking for to wrap a focal bead for myself. Simple but elegant.
Yvonne, you speak so clearly. It’s easy to follow your instructions. This is a lovely wire wrap tutorial.

Thank you, JuliAnn!
Pretty!
Thank you so much. This video is AMAZING!
Do you usually just sale the pendants separately or do you sale them with a necklace? If with a necklace...do you use chain or leather cording?

I have some irregular cut crystals I would love to wire wrap and I'm a beginner did you have a video you can recommend

is half hard wire ok for wire wrapping
How to you manage to keep your fingernails? mine always get grooves from pushing and bending the wire - especially when i make coils :D
Hi Yvonne
May I ask where you got the beads or the name of them?
Onia Pleasants I was wondering the same thing since they aren't in the materials list in the description box.
