    Oh Von! out of all the stuff you have wire wrapped recently these for me are my fave! they are STUNNING!! And not to belittle the long hours of work you put in to make them but I love that they are very simple within the wire wrapped visual. The wire is delicate and showing off the cabs so beautifully x

    Idea...i know that you have tutorials on all the steps to create a polymer cab, but how about a series and label them part 1 of 5...part 2 of 5 creating a detailed polymer clay cab, from conditioning, forming, painting, impressing, baking, resin, etc. Then perhaps run them in a 5 day marathon. Then the next days could be dedicated to wrapping in different style from easy to intermediate to advanced. Just a suggestion. I love everything you do. I love the whitish, pastel cab in the video....very pretty.

    That white cab with the flower/leaf design on it is beautiful! Whenever I try to do spirals they never look right and the wire ends up laying on top of itself. I realise it will take practice it's just frustrating because my wire always gets all marred up from my pliers. *sigh* maybe I'm holding things too tight or something

    Love your videos. I have a couple questions. 1) do you think this would work on a heart shaped cab? if not I’d love to see a video of you wrapping one. 2) how do u keep your nails looking like that! I’ve been doing this for a month or so and mine are splitting and peeling from using them as tools? Random I know. But I needed to ask.

  • @Rupunzelsawake

    Those pendants are gorgeous! And I think that wire wrapping looks uncomplicated enough for me to attempt. It's just a matter of finding dead soft wire to work with in New Zealand. Shipping costs from the USA are horrendous. BTW, I love your videos.

      @lyven8904 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      there is a couple of places in Aus that might be a cheaper postage option for you than from the US. I'm in Aus and get mine from inspirewithwire.com.au

    You just made that look really easy. I just got some copper wire and I have some Cabochons. I was thinking of trying to do some wire-wrapping of my own. I make beaded jewelry and I love using wrapped stones in my work, but I always have to buy the wrapped stones. I think it might help my business if I could do the wrapping myself. Would you mind if I used your video as a guide to making my own? Wrapped stones I mean....not copying your video. lol

    Beautiful! My halo paints arrived and I tried them yesterday, but the colours kind of 'muddied' when they murged :( practise needed I think! Also, I know you're always telling us, but can you remind me which resin you use for doming? Mine is too runny, I need a thicker one! Thanks Von, you da best!

      They were shown in a live stream. Basically taking flat polymer clay, stamping with water and a clear cling stamp, then some specific paints and letting those dry, then a cookie cutter type thing to get the shapes, and baked in the oven to set the clay. Finally they get domed on top with a clear resin.
