    Mosley also said the ship would sail regardless. Players aren’t panicking, just some “fans”.

    This is the new NCAA football. Kids can choose, and if Keone and Payton can get more visibility elsewhere, then they go. Coleman to Ann Arbor would be a great fit.

    This is a blow no doubt but no mention of increased depth along both lines as a reason why whoever steps into that qb1 has a better chance at sucess than payton had last year?

  • @jjcalvillo

    Thorne’s TD to INT ratio was only 2:1. Guy was still making poor decisions.

    Seems Michigan with McCarthy at QB and Davis coming in would be a great place for Coleman.

    I don’t care if we get two B level portal wr’s… Keon is my favorite player and who is say one of B level portal guys get hurt or perform at any level for us… Keon is game changing level of WR

    The bigger issue is the point raised by Spiro at the 27 minute mark. Clearly Keon doesn't believe in the culture. Frustrating.

    Even if Thorne wasn’t going to be the starter losing him is a loss. He’s experience for the QB room. We now have a collective experience of maybe 10 minutes of game play between Kim and Houser.

    • @iamsadandlame
      @iamsadandlame ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea and in those 10 minutes Noah Kim made 2 of the best TD passes of the season. Very well could've been a fluke both times but even with that small sample size I feel more comfortable with him starting than Thorne. I couldn't handle another season of first drive INTS, check downs on 3rd and long, and never getting passed the 2nd progression.

    Don’t you compare Peyton to Gram Mertz lmao… he might be starter at auburn and Gram was one of worst big ten QB’s of recent age

  • @DetroitSpartan

    You guys do know that it’s been confirmed by professional journalists that Coleman entered the portal as soon as he heard Thorne was transferring. So the exact opposite of the BS that this amateur was spewing is true. How is this acceptable? If this happened in my profession his “career” would be over. Do better.

    • @hemanths2230

      You obviously misunderstood. He's saying that Michigan State has been able to keep its players despite tampering. Then Justin proceeded to talk about how maybe Michigan State should even it out and do some tampering to recruit players under the table.

    • @DetroitSpartan
      @DetroitSpartan ปีที่แล้ว

      His teammates have taken notice.
      “Just the confidence as a leader, I knew he was a vocal player coming in,” said senior wide receiver Tre Mosley, a member of the 2019 recruiting class along with Thorne. “You could just tell by his energy. But as time went on and he felt more comfortable being vocal, you could definitely see it. The guys around the team on both sides of the ball respect him and listen to him.”

    Without Coleman we have the worst WR core in the big ten and power 5… WR’s are worth a lot more in college, look how bama relied on Jamo in 21-22 they can change a offense

      @@noah.conley True. Walker 3, Reed, Nailor, and Heyward all carried Thorne around. Rival SEC competitors for recruits and opponents saw this and had to do it. Reed was always a first to second round guy and Thorne’s mediocrity was exposed without Walker

  • @johnmohr9526
    @johnmohr9526 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thind is clueless. They are leaving because of a toxic culture, loaded with portal transfers. His sunshine pumping is so absurd. MSU is in deep trouble, financially, play wise, culture, etc. The whining is hilarious though. "Upgrade at QB"? Seriously? Thorne would absolutely start. The spin is entertaining though. Tucker's record as a Head Coach is pathetic. But, he's rich, so there's that.

      @Joe Plonka most people outside the program can see it. You are on the hook for Tucker, long term. He's never proven anything except getting lucky with Walker. The spin about Thorne is only believed by slappies. The team has nothing. I could go on and on...but I digress.
