That had to be one of the greatest games in March Madness history. What a game that was! The Aggies were dead in the water with just over a minute to go and they somehow forced OT on that wild three. Houston grinded it out but I gotta hand it to the Aggies for putting up a fight. Great game!

The officiating was very much favored towards A&M. The amount of FTs they shot, plus a bogus jump ball call at the end. They had so many chances to win. All they had to do was take advantage of the opportunity given to them by the officiating crew and they didn’t.

8 players vs 5. Someone decided to give the SEC a golf handicap, +15 free throws and +4 key players with a 4 point game in OT with more than 1 minute to go in order to make the game look competitive. Giving UH all the credit here as they were meant to lose this game. Whenever they play higher profile conference, the fouls are stacked against them.

I've noticed that the top seeds that get a gut check win against teams some would say they should beat comfortably usually make a deep run in the tournament. TX A&M had the benefit of seeing Houston already and were somewhat prepared for their style of play. Duke has not had that luxury and I think it will show because no team in the ACC plays with the level of physicality and intensity that Houston does.

Houston fan- you know whats funny, everyone is forgetting we are VERY HANDICAPPED at the moment were as some or most teams still have a good roster; however, that is not an excuse to not still play well and win if any team is capable of doing it, I dont know what happened the last few minutes but possesions like that gives me flashbacks from the Texas game at the Moody Center, Iowa State at Hilton, and TCU at their place (can't remember the name). Keep that in mind as everyone continues to say Houston should have lost. All credits to the A&M though. I know this game was either a revenge game and/or game where Houston was tested. This was the game that was make or break for March run for Houston because of A&Ms strength (your record does not define). I only feared one player on their squad and thank the heavens he did not get to go off like the 1st time it went down because even though we won that game I consider it a loss while locking down the game: Wade Taylor (1st game- 34 pts). Taylor is something special. Going forward though, given how handicapped we are, I can't see how deep we are going to run. My only prayer is that we DO NOT, ABSOLUTELY NOT have a rematch with Iowa State should we go that far. I do not like the fact that there is almost a mirror version of Houston in the way Iowa State plays their defense and its a horrible matchup.

From the angle in this video i see it as a jump ball, they both had hands on it before the Houston player ripped it away.
