- When you want to run fast you would assume someone would pick up a pair of Carbon Plated racing shoes right?
In this video, Ryan decides to swap his carbon shoes for a pair of Crocs in sports mode to see how fast he could run 5k at a parkrun.

Brilliant Ryan! Can’t believe you were able to run so fast 💨 I don’t think I’d have liked the grass section but saying that when I did my marathon, part of that was trail running. They worked surprisingly well 😂
Did your feet hold out ok? I got a little blister on one of my toes but just made sure I taped it up before I ran.
I’d offer you a croc running challenge but I wouldn’t stand a chance 😁
I was just as shocked as you were 😂😂 did you go for the two sock approach? I reckon that's what saved my feet 🙌 I'm sure we can think of some kind of odd shoewear challenge 😂😂 thank you for watching ☺️
Just one pair of thick socks worked well for me. Once I got over the fear of them falling off, they were a good alternative to trainers 😁

I love how that old couple at 5.40 weren't going to let 400 Park runners deter them from their morning walk. Can't they just get off the course. It's only for an hour on a Saturday morning. They probably do it every week.

That’s a lovely Parkrun location Ryan, I estimated you’d do 18:30 before you started so 17:49 is crazy fast in Crocs😂. Did you suffer any blisters or discomfort afterwards?
Thank you so much, that's our local parkrun ☺️🙌 I was very surprised with the time and luckily I wore two pairs of socks so I was randomly unaffected 😂
